Yeah, big capitals there so hopefully some member of GOG's staff sees it. We are being left in the dark here, have I backed a lame horse by buying my copy of No Man's Sky on GOG? Are they going to let us down in every way possible when we could be getting much better support and service on Steam?

I have a really bad feeling that I have picked the losing team.

It's the middle of the night in Poland, even if they are doing some overtime during the weekend because of NMS I doubt there is somebody around at 1AM to upload experimental patches...

You can keep making excuses for them mate, I won't.
It's up to the developers when they upload a patch for this version, not GOG. If you should be angry with anyone it should be the devs. Also, you can always refund the game here within 30 days and get it elsewhere if you'd like.

You don't need to tell me I can get a refund, you condescending prick. I know the policies of both GOG and Steam regarding refunds. And actually, it is not just up to the developers. It is up to GOG to push for this update for their customers, and to communicate to us what is happening. So far there has been ZERO communication regarding this matter. I don't care if it is the fucken weekend, or someone called in sick.. you can't run a business without covering basics like PR, and good customer service. So, take your smarmy reply, and shove it up your ass. Cheers!

Right here people is the morons that having problems...

a five year old child that life depends on game or otherwise he is lonely while his whore mommy doing crack.
I'd rather let steam users test an experimental patch - I'll happily wait for a solid one.

That's OK man, you can make little attempts at insulting me like that. It is of no consequence. My point remains that GOG is a business that wants to be big, but isn't doing enough to help itself grow. For your info though, I am 36, work full time, brought 3 copies of the game on GOG where I could have brought them on Steam. One copy is installed on a relatively new machine that is running it fine, one on a machine with a slightly newer cpu than mine, but average gfx card and 4 gigs of ram - that is also running it fine. My machine meets all the min specs, but has an older cpu (intel q6600 OC'd to 3.2ghz) so I am having to wait for this patch. So yeah, I am disappointed that GOG aren't communicating to us the steps they are taking to get this patch on their platform (through the beta channel, that's what it's for isn't it?). So I am left to assume that they aren't doing anything, or the office is closed with no fucks given. Cheers!

Patch isn't going to make garbage computers run brand new top of line games.

http://techraptor.net/content/patch-details-workarounds-released-for-no-mans-sky

I can currently get around alt+ tab bug with just using task menu and bring to front.

my FPS is smooth at everything max.
And I don't have cheap AMD cpu.

So what would patch do for me? LOL
it won't do anything for your shoe box computer.

So again you are screaming and crying cause nothing.
Notice how that number of whining trash like you is getting smaller?

They are all now able to play the game everyone else was playing or realized that their garbage computer wont' run it.

Hey dude, you are trying to make some point, but it isn't really working. There is an experimental patch that lets people with older CPUs actually PLAY the game, because right now there are many who can't even start it. Early this week they are releasing an official patch, apparently. Mine isn't an AMD processor either, so I don't know where you are going with that. And just for your info, this is literally the only RELEASED game that I have not being able to launch... it crashes after the hello games screen. I play many AAA games just fine, but maybe that is the problem. No Man's Sky isn't actually a AAA game, it has a small design team who are fumbling around a bit dealing with a bad launch. My point is, GOG aren't communicating anything with their customers. Cheers!

I just posted the experimental patch notes...
this is only for slightly older AMD cpu's

YOUR CPU IS TEN YEARS OLD

It is about what we call antique

I`m sorry but he has a valid point. I`m surprised that CPU is still running on anything today except word processers. That`s like vintage in the computer world. I doubt any patch will make a difference to that.

You are expecting to run a game released in 2016 on a CPU released in 2006? My god....

I can only imagine how horrid the rest of your computer is.. Maybe it's time to buy a console and get out of computer gaming if you can't afford to build a decent rig?

Your CPU is well and beyond out of the support cycle of almost every object on the market.

Your cpu doesn't support SSE4/4.1, only SSE3 and SSSE3.
What are you doing?
Why are you doing this?

Stop it. Just stop.
