It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

zarquon: I have this problem as well (I guess everyone does), though it doesn't bother me that much, I just re-link Steam every once in a while. I'm curious, though, does the Steam integration break inadvertently from changes/updates at Valve (since they don't explicitly cooperate with GOG), or does Valve break it intentionally? Or don't we know why it happens repeatedly?
does it happen much often than in web browser? galaxy plugin uses same web login and it expires often which is understandable. that means you'll need to re-login often, just like you do when you access your steam account from different browsers. under some circumstances you might need to re-login again if steam invalidates your current login session.
there's no way to make it permanent because it's web based login.

I'm not sure, I rarely log into Steam from a browser; the GOG Galaxy integration seems to break at least every day or so.
Again, not a huge deal to me, I just re-link it often, just curious as to why only Steam seems to do this.

couple of days is way too fast. maybe it's an issue with plugin itself.
I don't know why but I unistalled and reinstalled gog galaxy 2;0 3 month ago and no more connection issue
Uninstalled with revo

I didn't go to that extreme but it took me a while to disconnect steam in the settings (connect platform) option. Once steam was disconnected I was able to reconnect steam following username and pw entry and everything worked after it synced.
Same thing. Works when reconnecting for 2-3 days and then goes offline again.
Also borked for me. It's not the end of the world, but it does make the integration rather useless as it doesn't know which games are installed.
Same probleme here since weeks..
It's perhaps stupid but try to install python. I have python on my computer, cause a program needed it a long time ago.
I was having this issue consistently, but I manually updated the new integration three days ago and it's been working well for me . . . so far.

It's worth a shot! New version as of nine days ago—it won't let me post links atm, but just look up Friends of Galaxy Steam Integration.
I have given up on it and I simply wait till they move their asses and either fix it, or add official integration, like with Epic (which I guess it got due to its sweet Chinese money).

I already have 0.52, same problem. But was worth a shot! :)
Same problem here, connection to Steam lost from one day to another. Latest plugin is installed, the only solution so far ist to disconnect Steam from Galaxy and then connect once again.

Which is not a very good solution, because Galaxy treats this as a NEW connection from a NEW Steam account, i loose all settings and meta data from before.
I have the same issue. Reconnecting or syncing integrations doesn't help.
I disconnected steam then and connected again - it didn't work. Then I wanted to report the issue inside the app, I was in the middle of reporting it when "Import" notification showed up and then my games appeared in Galaxy.
