lagamorph: Sadly doesn't seem to be working for me.

The plugin shows as being connected, but after a little while I just get a message that the data couldn't be loaded. When I restart my GoG client the plugin once again shows "Connection lost". If I try to reconnect it then it just shows as "Offline"

When I check my store.playstation.com page and refresh it I've been logged out and then when I log back in I get a totally new npsso. I put that into the plugin.py file, restart GoG Galaxy and I can connect the Playstation Network plugin and it shows Connected, but then I get the same data couldn't be loaded. Restart GoG Galaxy and it's back to "Connection Lost"

I've tried completely deleting the psn plugin folder and re-downloading it to start over, but just get the same results.
had the same problem, tried to add my witcher 3 disk to my PS4 so I tried to reload my PSN lib on GoG, but it was stuck on the offline retry. I tried deleting everything GoG related on my PC and restarting the process but its still stuck on the offline retry. Would creating a new account work or does GoG recognize PSN accnts used by other GoG accnts?

Bustacap: reposting the newest version of the workaround for better visibility
----------------------

- close GOG Galaxy if it's running at the moment

- log in to the Playstation Store (store.playstation.com) through your browser
(if you were already logged in, log out first, then back in)

- after the login open this link: https://ca.account.sony.com/api/v1/ssocookie

youll get something like: {"npsso":"xxx"}
where xxx is the npsso value

(example of what it should look like: https://abload.de/img/npssomcj9f.png )

- open windows explorer and enter the following into the address bar at the top and press enter
%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\

- open the psn_{random number} folder and edit the plugin.py file with your favourite text editor

- go to line 64. it sould look like this:
stored_npsso = stored_credentials.get("npsso") if stored_credentials else None

delete everything on that line after: stored_npsso =
then add your npsso value behind it in quotation marks.

it should look like this:
stored_npsso = "npsso value"

("npsso value" is the value from step 3 and should be a 64 character long text consisting of numbers, lower case letters and upper case letters)
(the quotation marks " " are important!)

(example of what it should look like: https://abload.de/img/plugingrjah.png )

- save the changes made to plugin.py and close the file
- restart GOG Galaxy
- try connecting with PSN again

GrumpyHooman: This worked perfectly for me. Thank you so much
This dude is saving fucking lives, Thank you so much for this
This solution does not work for me, because when I go to that page I don't get the information that I need. Instead, I get the following:

imgur.com/a/Daf1Z9d

I have tried in multiple browsers.
I have given up.

Even though in the end I was able to get the workaround to work and connect to the PSN account the Witcher 3 (of which I have the disc version installed on PS4) has not appeared on GOG (and I am not alone having this experience).

The promotional banner is not interactive therefore cannot be clicked and if I go to the game page on GOG it asks me to buy the game.

Clearly, they made so much noise about this promotion on various social media sites only to mess it up with something that does not work due to the horrendous CAPTCHA; it needs a workaround kindly provided by a member here that has still some people who have not been able to get working and, even when it works, a selection of people cannot claim the game.

What a horrendous experience. My time is more valuable than this nonsensical farce.

Yeah, I've submitted a ticket for this exact problem. They marked it as "Solved" without any reply or fix!
I've logged, reinstalled, restarted and I don't even have any banner appearing anywhere. Not on the main Galaxy window nor in the games' page. PSN library was synced fine.

Help?

100% agree, sounds to me like they were so focused on building their customer base and getting clicks and registrations they didn't spend any time focusing on the actual promotion. I'm stoked about GOG Galaxy but for all the time I've spent on this promotion I could have bought the game (again) many times over.

raphick: For those who still have issues like "Plugin crashed" or "Offline retry" do this :

- In addition to totally REPLACING the line 64, delete lines 65 and 66
- Python is indent-sensitive, it means the script interpreter uses the vertical alignment to know if blocks of code are within certain statements/conditionals/loops or others. To make sure that the script is correctly interpreted you need to make sure that the line 64 you have just replaced starts with the "s" of stored_npsso right under the "c" of async which is in line 63. Actually it, the line 64 has to start after 8 blank SPACES (do not use tabs).

In the end it should look like the image attached.

Cheers!
thank you! it worked :)

try going there manually then
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed
There are a few games not syncing though... Including Witcher 3. Anyone have any fixes for sync issues?
can someone screen how the file looks after the changes
cause it still doesn't work for me
