How is it possible that a new version of the Galaxy app is worse than the previous?
Forget that last question, answer me this one: if the new app is shit compared to the old one, and it is, why do you force people who did not join the beta, meaning they don't want to use this all-in-one garbage option to install the new app by auto-updating the old one?

Thx mate, I'm still wondering though why they are forcing that shit onto us without our consent the first place...
I think I'm going to remove galaxy and just use my games offline in the future.

So is the issue with the Steam login getting fixed soon? I Can't see that many having that issue but some are.
I really like GOG 2.0
I hadn't updated Galaxy in several months as it never had to start up like steam to play games. It updated last night, and I dont care for this at all. Now I have to log in to play The Witcher 3, or Battletech. Before hand I didn't have to worry about this, if my spotty internet was down, gog games was the one thing I never had to worry about as they would run without logging into a gaming distribution like steam, or Origin. Now if my net is down it wont let me play. Is there a setting to bypass this somewhere never had to deal with this in gog in the pass so I dont know ware it would be.


Update Never mind the above, I had been having problems with a mod and ended up needing to reinstall the game, When I did and updated GOG it put a shortcut that used Gog as the startup. I just manually placed a shortcut to the witcher 3 from the exe and now its back to the way it was. All well easy fix. Gog is different now but after spending some time with it its not that bad relay.

I am not sure if I am the only person, but since the update, it appears that GOG 2 cannot Connect to the Battle.net anymore. It is stuck in "Connecting...", I do understand that the Bnet is a community integration but it is still a bit of a hassle.
The new update broke the "monthly history" on the recent page. The amount of achievements I got and the total playtime is not displayed anymore. Also I'm getting a "Sorry, we couldn't load the data. Retry" error message all the time now.

Also when posting a message the "Add or edit your post" window will not go away after hitting "post my message". The message will be posted but the window doesn't close automatically and will get stuck with a "Please wait, processing" message where the "post my message" button was before.

I've been experiencing this for the last two months as well. I eventually just gave up and deleted the integration. Would be nice if someone came up with a solution for this.
Since the update GoG client hangs and slows down the pc to the point of unusable while downloading games. on my weaker machines the pc is completely useless until the download has completed. I've tried it on multiple PCs to the same results. Any known fix for it?

Grid and list views customization
New columns are available in the library list view. Reorder and toggle columns in the list view, customize additional info shown in the grid view, or sort and group with new options.

I'm having an issue since the update. The extras sections of the games on galaxy are showing as blank (slowly pulsing) making it not possible to download offline installers and extras as none of them are shown. It isn't just a singular game, it seems to be all of them. This isn't something that was happening previously and basically makes galaxy pretty damn useless.

Update: Seems if after the client is loaded it is left for about 10 minutes the extras tabs do populate and offline installers are available. Quitting the client and re-starting doesn't help. If I was to hazzard a guess there is some server connection issue here, whether it is account specific or a general problem I don't know. I do know my internet speed test is showing my connection speed is good and everything else is working just fine apart from Galaxy and only since the last update.

I still can't sync the Steam integration it's keep stops at 81% and if I'm closing the client and reopen with Steam integration added it's stops the overall syncing process at 25%. Is there any way to fix it?

I was facing this problem a few days ago but it was resolved once I closed gog launcher by exiting through the cog wheel on the top left and opening steam client with all my login details and then restarting my gog client and connecting the integration. It worked on te first time for me hope your problem gets resolved soon.
