I can't believe my luck, on my first try i got the only interesting games i wanted from pot of gold: Geneforge 1-5, Avernum: Complete and I have no mouth and i must scream.
My attitude changed from: This sale is not for me->Instabuy.
Or does wishlist affect the change of random games? I had all those on wishlist.

I believe wishlist contents were mentioned in the announcement, so it's possible that they effect the odds in some way.
(I don't have any proof of this, just speculating...)

Well this sale sucks some mighty balls. It`s mostly nothing but shovel ware. I rerolled for 6 hours and never once got Amnesia. Just the same 5 craptastic games.

Sigh, oh well. I feel dirty I wasted so much time. I guess never trust GOG.

The wishlist does change the odds.
I added the 2 I wanted and got them next pots.

I just spent like an hour rolling... The 4 zombalien shooter games seem to have been removed from the random list as well, and the higher price games are also still gone, at least for me. This is what still comes up randomly (had to use a new account to verify the games I already owned are still coming) -

I really wanted Cognition and Deponia 3, and wouldn't have minded picking up a few others, but I didn't try this yesterday when the full list was available. Ah well. At least I got Penumbra and some random things I might enjoy like the Amiga-ish AquaKitty.

I just tried rolling a few times to confirm this and the zombiealien games are infact still there.

So just to be sure, there are no "random" games from the entire catalog available, just the ones already listed?

Exactly. Brainslide's list is the one that's the most up-to-date (note, however, that the Zombalien Shooters are still in the selection. Maybe the opening post could be updated? The games that have been (temporarily) removed should be marked in some way.

I am still just rolling the same 9 games now.
I am a little disappointed as I would have liked to have gotten Memoria for $2, but I guess the GOG leprechauns just feel I need multiple copies of Zombie Shooter 1 & 2.

I swear if I had continued rolling I would eventually have rolled a set of 5 Zombie Shooters.

I do see the shooters if I put them on my wishlist, and then they are consistently there, otherwise they don't show up for me. Then it's only the same 12 games over and over.

The remaining 7 games (from the current big games sale) do not show up, even if on my wishlist.

Well, to be fair, we start with a slot-machine-type situation where a few lucky ones (or those willing to fork over 100$) get Deponia 3 or Memoria for 2$.

Then, someone figures out a way to essentially *rig* the rolling and suddenly EVERYONE can get Deponia 3 for 2$.

How do you think Daedalic would react to that?

How about Red Barrels, Cyanide Studios or Frictional Games? Would they be willing to sell Outlast, Amnesia or Aarklash for 2$ to everyone?

Although it is true that everyone loves a good deal, I have a feeling that this isn't exactly a good deal for the publishers/developers involved and GoG already let THEM down in order to NOT let US down with the regional pricing situation, remember?

These deals never work. It would have been better if they had had something like the pick one deal from the winter sale. Where if you bought a bundle you could choose 1 deal from the pot of gold.
