It's a shame everyone got the same "pots of gold." I've got a five-pack of games to trade that's useless to me, but it's likely the same five-pack of games everyone else has to trade. Still, a fun promo, and I did get some gems before the bad roll. ;)

I'm little disappointed. It's sadly hear that Deponia 3, Cognition and Memoria are not available as pot's surprise anymore. Hope that they return before end of promo since these games are on my wishlist. Thanks you guys for keeping updated pot's list.

Not really. It's a very common game for me along with Puddle, Aqua Kitty, Ittle Dew, Geneforge, Penumbra and Rise of the Owlverlord. The last in particular appears in every single pot.

Huh, that's weird. It didn't appear in any of the rolls I did in the last couple of days.

Aarklash Legacy somehow never showed up for me, not even during the early hours of the promo.

It seems a little dishonest for GOG to claim the "Pot of Gold" selects a random game for you, giving you the impression that it is drawing on all of their games, or at least a large selection of their games, when in fact they are just offering the same five games over and over again to everyone. Very disappointing.

I never really had that impression, it only says that you won't get games already in the Promo list - it would have been quite absurd to discount the full catalog!!!

Hehehe, wait until you see a Summer (June?), Black Friday (Nov), or Winter (Dec) Sale. It gets insane around here.

Likewise, among the last bundles I bought both Avernum and Geneforge showed up pretty much every time, until I finally caved and bought them. Now that I have all but two of the Pot titles, it does seem to be less frequent.

EDIT: Just tried a roll of 5 Pots and Avernum was among them. :)

i wanted to try my luck again on this sunday, after i got only the small ones when i first tried on friday.

but now knowing there is no chance to get a big game anymore, it's not worth and no fun anymore. :-(

It's a week long deal, so maybe they will think about changing the pool of games part way through to renew some interest. Then again, if people can still sneak a peek at what they are getting then it's unlikely they will put anything too attractive in.

Yes, you are correct. I think what I should have said was that I didn't realize the "Pot of Gold" only had a few games in it, and most of those are not very good. I certainly wouldn't expect them to discount everything they own.

Someone told me that they were going to have a sale on St. Patrick's day. I think they meant this one but are just confused about the time it started, right?
