Generals gathered in their masses!

Hogs of War, a pork-flavored turn-based strategy title with four player multiplay and some cheeky sense of humor, is available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Arm your Hogs of War to the teeth with a choice of 40 different weapons including sniper rifles, bazookas, mines, jetpacks, cluster grenades, and tanks to fight for one of six different pig armies, each one based on a real nation from the First World War-era: Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Japan, France, or the USA. There's an explosive 25 level single player campaign for you to take on, and an addictive online multiplayer mode for up to four players. You can customize your squad as you promote your hogs from Grunt to Officer in one of four different classes - Heavy Weapons, Medic, Espionage, or Engineer - your swine will learn more skills and acquire the use of a wider range of weaponry. All this with a solid serving of cheeky sense of humor brought to life by the vocal talents of renowned British comedian Rik Mayall.

If you love turn-based strategies but you don't want to take all of your virtual wars that seriously, make sure to give Hogs of War a try, for only $5.99 on GOG.com (or, if you prefer, the equivalent in EUR, AUD, GBP, or RUB).

ErraticBuddha: Well GOG dropped the ball on this one.
1. Enenmy hogs dont move
2. Missing some in game music
3. Menus flash/tearing
4. No windowed mode.
Lost a lot of trust in GOG and a waste money.
Are you on Windows 8 by any chance? If so, we tried but we couldn't get it to work on Windows 8/8.1 at this time. If you are NOT on Windows 8, please send us a Support ticket and we'll help you out to get the game working on your system :)

Edit: in the PC version the hogs are meant not to move.

inc09nito: For real?
I mean: when it's your pig's turn, you can't re-position it before firing a shot?
See here:

inc09nito: Oh my , that's a huge difference I would never expect!
Kinda sad :(
Thank you for the clarification though. I guess I'll stay with PS1 version then :(
I wish we could fix it but it's waaaay beyond us :(

Senteria: You think an ultra dedicated fan could make a patch or mod for it? Though I believe that would require tons of work. I find it quite bizarre that the developers didn't let the hogs just move on the pc version. I mean why downgrade?
I guess, if they are really good at modding something without standard mod tools? I have no idea.
