Here's one short and simple recipe:

Lepinja (round flatbread bun) with “tobacco” pork cracklings and kajmak (clotted cream)

(1 lepinja, 50 g “tobacco” pork cracklings, 50 g kajmak)

Filling options: cabbage, beet, tomato, cucumber, onion, ground hot peppers, gravy...

It looks something like this (without any extra filling though):

I'm not interested in winning, I have enough games.

But, one of my favorite sandwiches and one that I can't get around here.

Bread, white or wheat is fine,

1 slice red onion,
smoked salmon thinly sliced to cover bread
lettuce to cover bread
mayo
deli mustard

Instructions are pretty much common sense. It's one of my favorite sandwiches, assuming you can find the ingredients.

One of the local restaurants does a weird fried egg sandwich.

Two pieces of toast
1 fried egg
strawberry jam on both pieces of toast
lettuce.
Capers, roasted red peppers, and goat cheese on ciabatta bread. Can't beat it.
1. Two slices of bread (whatever kind you like) or a burger-like bread.

2. Put in lots of Sheep sirenje or Feta (both which are a kind of white brine cheese).

3. Add some sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, black or green olives. You could also add mushrooms, but you said you don't want these.

4. Add many slices of Kulen.

5. Enjoy your burning sandwich.

EDIT: Why burning? Well, because of the Kulen, I feel like my whole mouth is burning... which is such a sensational feeling.

Any form of either white or slightly "sour" dark bread
Leverpastej
Swedish/Danish style picked cucumber slices (not too hard to make on your own)

One of my favourite sandwiches, but chances are that some of the ingredients (leverpastej mainly) might be a bit hard to find.

So here is another one and my actual entry
Some kind of white or whole grain bread (not too sweet)
Mozzarella
Smoked & dried ham
Butter or margarine
Fresh basil
a touch of ground black pepper
Lettuce
Possibly tomato

Give the bread a light coat of butter or margarine, add a pinch of ground black pepper (spread out evenly). Then simply add the other ingredients, and make sure that you always have two "layers" of lettuce & ham at any given spot on the sandwich

And finally:
Some kind of not too sweet or sour bread
Brie cheese
Salami, preferably one that tastes quite a lot (pepper salami or garlic salami almost always work, chili-salami usually works)
Lettuce
Butter or margarine

This one is pretty self explanatory. Amount of brie depends a lot on how much the brie itself tastes, but you don't want it to dominate.

2 Slices of Bread (white)
Some sliced meat (various flavors)
Salad Dressing
1 or 2 Slices of cheese
Potato Chips (various flavors)

1. Take slice of bread and put a little dressing on it.
2. Put meat on the slice.
3. Put cheese on top of meat.
4. Add some chips on top of cheese.
5. Put other piece of bread on top to finish sandwich.

It's quick and easy to make while being easily customized. The dressing gives a bit of moisture and the chips a bit of crunch. I use a small amount of dressing and Oscar Mayar Selects since they come in different flavors.

I also like raspberry jelly on a sausage biscuit :)
Spicy Bacon Grilled Cheese:
2 slices bacon cooked until crispy
Butter
2 slices white bread
2 slices American cheese
1 slice tomato
1/2 of a jalapeno pepper chopped
Buttered a slice of bread and place butter side down in the skillet. Lay on a on top a slice of cheese, slice of tomato, bacon, jalapeno and second slice of cheese. Butter remaining slice of bread, and place on top buttered side up. Grill until done.
+1 for the give away!

Toasted salami & turkey sandwich:

Sandwich buns, mayonnaise, mustard, turkey, margarine, salami, mozzarella and/or cheddar cheese.
My fav would be:

2 slices of bread
2 slices of corned meat
2 slices of Camembert Cheese (or one if it's a big piece)
A tomato slice

Butter the bread, put the corned meat on, covering one slice of bread. Then add the cheese and tomato. you could add a cabbage leaf (but I don't).

Put in microwave (or oven) till the cheese has melted.
I am not participating, I am just going to write that you can't go wrong with any Subway sandwiches :P
1-pork roll also known as tammy ann ham
2-provalone cheese
3-kaiser roll
1 or 2 eggs cooked over easy

take the pork roll an cut nicks into the edges fry it on a skillet
the cook the eggstake ingredients an put on kaiser roll along with provalone cheese
put in toasater oven till bread is crisp
I don't know the exact english words, but it should be something like this.
This is a simple sandwich

You take the bread and spread tomato over it. It's a tomato for spreading not the one for the salad.
Then you put a drizzle of olive oil. If you like you can also put a little salt.
And finally you put the slices of ham. If you don't like put the other similar product you like.
Cold favs as per requested, I often make these and have them cold.
