Pilots wanted!
PixelJunk Shooter, a 2d arcade title in which you pilot a spacecraft on a rescue mission across alien caverns full of enemies, dynamically changing environment, and colorful eye-candy, is available 25% off for pre-orders on GOG.com. That's only $6.74, until the game's expected release on Monday, November 11, at 10:59AM GMT.
Whenever some scientists set off on a outer-space expedition, sooner or later something goes terribly, terribly wrong, and it's up to someone like you to save the day. Enlist as a pilot for the rescue mission! You must pilot your spacecraft through a range of cavernous environments in a bid to save the scientists trapped underground. Making your way through the game will rely on your keen sense of observation and the ability to manipulate your surroundings. Add in a swarm of dangerous enemies, hazardous substances and stranded survivors in need of your help and your mission objectives are pretty clear!
From the team that brought you PixelJunk Monsters HD comes PixelJunk Shooter, a game with a completely different set of gameplay rules, but sharing the previous title's high level of polish, and light-hearted aesthetics. With many a dangerous caverns to explore, figure out, and shoot your way through, a distinct retro-feeling combined with very modern gameplay pacing, and many clever ideas to discover across the otherworldly landscape, this fun title guarantees to bring a smile on your face.
You still have enough time to solve some mazes and train your reflexes playing some knuclebones to prepare yourself for the fun but challenging task ahead, but in the meantime pre-order PixelJunk Shooter, for only $6.74 on GOG.com. The pre-order offer will last until Monday, November 11, at 10:59AM GMT.
Got this for PS3, and I loved every minute of it (along with PixelJunk SideScroller). Can highly recommend it.

I'm not sure of the full details. From my understanding, there's been some kind of delay with the final build. Sorry about that. :/

Ok, thanks for the info!
On their forum there is nothing to find about this.

EDIT: Ok, on their forum an admin posted, the release will still be today. Maybe a little delayed.

If it had been released on PC it would already be abandonware.
