This game is amazing, no doubt. The aiming method is still good with keyboard and mouse (I was a little skeptical about the controls.) It still has the arcade feel to it. Plug in a controller and you can play co-op, which is a plus. The one thing, the one beautiful thing, is the boss fights. They are multi-stage, memorize patterns, and take a good 15 minutes to beat them. Amazingread more across the board, and will surly look out for the second one to come on PC.

PixelJunk has great success in making games that are both highly addictive, yet allow you the ability to walk away from the game and get on with your life. I find that I am able to play a few levels, then put the game down for a while, then come back to it a few hours and enjoy it just as much as the first time! I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a simple, fun and visually appealing game to play.

This little gem of a game is really worth your time with great gameplay, enchanting music, and amazing atmosphere in PixelJunk Shooter. You find your ship floating deep under a alien planet with stranded co-workers to rescue and hostile enemies to avoid or shoot reminding me a bit of Lunar Lander. The graphics and artwork are also stellar and pure eye candy.
The game has a veryread more laid back feeling but there are tense moments like the awesome looking bosses that require some thinking to take down. The soundtrack is just fantastic as well by High Frequency Bandwidth that really sets the mood and gets the blood pumping. The controls with the keyboard and mouse will take some getting used to or use a controller both work great. If you want a fun fast and/or unique game this is one to check out.
