Play the first part of the game three weeks before the release only on GOG.com.

[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/resonance]Resonance, the retro-style graphical adventure from publisher of the Blackwell Bundle we released yesterday (get it now 33% off!), has been available for pre-order for two weeks already. However, thanks to the wonderful people from Wadjet Eye Games, and your favorite digital distributor filled with dash and derring-do, the Playable Preview of Resonance is available to all the people who pre-ordered the game. We’re incredibly pleased to offer our users exclusive deals and best offers, but the four hours of Resonance Playable Preview available three weeks before the release is something GOG.com is really proud of.

Playable Preview is available for download as bonus content, so just go to ‘My Account’, click Resonance and download the preview either through your browser or the GOG.com Downloader.

If you don’t know what Resonance is, check the or [url=http://www.youtube.com/embed/0KlFyjyUM3Y]trailer below, and if you already pre-ordered, you’re probably not reading this but already downloading.

Zoidberg: Well now, that's silly. I was curious to test it but I have to buy it?

Pass then... :/
There will be a free demo coming soon. This preview is just more like a playable tech demo. Vince the developer explained it more detailed in his posting.

Edit: Want to push this wish for highlighted developer postings.

Its awesome :D

Seriously, people should be more aware of awesomeness of adventure games by Wadjet eye games :P Because seriously, they are awesome :D

On less awesomely said manner, preview gives you enough of start to hook you in but it cuts off when first chapter ends making you wish it was longer. So yeah, good first chapter I say :D

VinceTwelve: Hey everybody, game dev here to clarify a few things:

This is not a demo. The public demo of the game is not ready yet, but will be a much smaller portion of the game. This is a very sizeable chunk of the the full game, which GoG wanted to offer exclusively to pre-orderers, so we prepared it for you!

So, if you want to take a peak at the game before the full version becomes available, now's your chance! If you want to wait and play the game when the whole thing is available to you, your free to do so! (It gives you time to buy and play that Blackwell Bundle!)

I will point out that because this preview is built on near-complete-but-not-quite-complete code, the saves from this preview WILL NOT be compatible with the full version of the game. However, we will provide you with some way to skip to the point in the game where this preview leaves off. But your points and achievements will not follow forward. So, if you're keen on that kind of thing, you would need to replay this portion of the game. There's about 4 hours of gameplay here, but if you know what you're doing, you can buzz through much faster than that.

So if you'd like to try out the first part of the game, you're now able to do so. (Be sure to tell us what you think!) If you want to wait, the full game will be here soon!
I personally love it :3 It seems to evoke same king of feeling that Blackwell series evoked me(aka love xD)~ Aka, I'm hooked in and now want to see rest of it :3 Its kinda nice how this game seems to be huger than blackwell games individually, don't get me wrong I love blackwell series and I know adventure games that work on episode basis aren't very long but they still leave me craving for more~ Thats problem of being used to longer games~

Anyway, I wouldn't say preview is four hours unless you get stuck for reaaally long time.

I've played a bit of the preview so far and am absolutely loving it. If you've played a Wadjet Eye game before you know what you're getting: adventuring nirvana. The story is really terrific from what I've seen. Too soon to pass judgement but this certainly has the potential to be the best Wadjet Eye adventure yet!

Thanks! It's definitely longer than anything else in the current Wadjet Eye Catalog! That's why it took me five years!

Really glad you guys are enjoying it! This game was a labor of love and I want as many people as possible to play and enjoy!
Thanks for releasing this. You just made the world a better place.
Finished the preview today. As advertised, it took me about 4 hours to complete, I suppose someone who knows the solution to all the puzzles could probably do it in an hour or so. Here are my pros and cons:

Pros:

Love the story so far
Good use of character switching/cooperation
The memory mechanic is pretty neat

Cons:

Now I have to wait 2 weeks to play the rest of it :p
Can anyone tell me how to solve the door control puzzle in the Juno Laboratory where you have to connect the different pins with a wire? Is there a logical solution or do I just have to keep trying randomly until I find the right connection?
Okay, so I just finished playing through the preview, which was fantastic. It felt like a really good point-and-click adventure from the mid-90s. The characters, dialog, story and voice acting were all done very well. I very much enjoyed playing the demo and can't wait for the full game to be released.

Paying to try a game doesn't make much sense to me but to be honest I won't be getting it from here anyway, because I only buy old games from GOG.

It's an instabuy as soon as it hits Steam or Desura though, and I'm even more hyped about it after playing The Shivah for the first time this week.
Hey, guys, anybody help me, please? I´m stuck with Roy by the Mainframe and I absolutely do not know what to do. I need to login into the mainframe terminal, but wheru can I find that login??? Otherwise the demo is absolutely fantastic, thanks, WatjetEyes!

It's nice idea to be playable preview as pre-order bonus.
