Hi all! I can confirm it seems we're experiencing some issue on the PayPal side. The team is well aware of this and working on this as we speak, but so far we don't have na ETA for you. We'll provide you with an update as soon as we know something, and in the meantime, all I can recommend is trying a different payment method for now :(


EDIT (0030h CET):

No official news from our payment operator, but indeed PayPal payments appear to be processing perfectly since 20-30 minutes or so.I don't want to jinx it, but it appears to have been fixed. :)

Hey,

same issue here. Tryed to buy banished with paypal.
I'm in Germany, so the problem is definitely global.

I'll fill a support ticket too....

Firek: I have confirmed the problem, and have just spoken to our payment operator's emergency helpdesk folk. They're currently investigating this, and I'll let you guys know once I know more.
In the meantime, please try using a different payment method if PayPal fails on you.

Mind you, not all PayPal accounts appear to be affected by this, but more are than aren't, at the moment.

I'm getting the same problem with paypal - also getting it trying to pay with a credit card, I think the issue is at the GOG end. I'll fill out a support ticket.

Same here. Issues with both, and the problem is definitely not my end. North America.

Count me among those affected. I made a purchase this morning (around 5 hours or so ago) through Paypal with no problem, but I just received the aforementioned error. I completed my transaction with a GOG friendly credit card, but I hope this gets corrected soon for GOG's sake. Paypal being broken for them is a pretty big deal...

Well, the promo for the game I want will be over in less than 2h, guess that if the paypal problem is not solved before, I have to fill a ticket then... perhaps better now I think.

Lots of people have credit card issues with GOG in the US. Now, if the card worked before but didn't work now that might be something, but I know that I just now used my GOG friendly credit card without any issues. So, it's not a universal problem. I'm going to guess that he's possibly never tried that card with GOG before.

FYI - I just tested with the card I normally use and it worked without issue.

I just started having the same issue with both paypal and my credit card, both of which I have been using here ever since I created my account.
