Hi all! I can confirm it seems we're experiencing some issue on the PayPal side. The team is well aware of this and working on this as we speak, but so far we don't have na ETA for you. We'll provide you with an update as soon as we know something, and in the meantime, all I can recommend is trying a different payment method for now :(

EDIT (0030h CET):

No official news from our payment operator, but indeed PayPal payments appear to be processing perfectly since 20-30 minutes or so.I don't want to jinx it, but it appears to have been fixed. :)

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. :)

DanielRuf: Might be the cookies, thanks for the hint

Leroux: Sadly, I think it was just luck. Didn't work the second time I tried it. I've been trying to purchase Sudeki for a while now, in vain.
same with me, I try to purchase Sudeki for more than one hour now (with breaks ^^), tried clearing cache and cookies, using different browsers, logging in and off, using second pc...

guess your try was 1 of 1000 times working ^^
From support email:

"We are currently expriencing widespread issues with PayPal payments. Please try again with a different payment method, if possible. We will have this issue fixed as soon as we can."

JJRmed: Can confirm the same issue, just tried to gift two games to a friend of mine. Credit card directly as well as by Paypal not working. Bank accounts in both cases in the black, PayPal has same credit card as well as separate bank account. Issue seems to be only regarding purchases through GOG, Steam purchase worked.

DanielRuf: wow, even creditcard
Yep...Paypal & Credit card returning errors. I must say I already find this kind of sale frustrating - no way I can connect to GOG from my workplace - and this only adds another layer of frustration
The fall sale is turning into a fail sale. And actually I read that first. ;)

Ditto. Also trying to purchase Sudeki to no avail.

Does anyone think that PayPal sees this huge number of transactions going into Poland and thinking "No way this can be right" and restricting sales? I'd imagine the current Fall sale is one of GOG's biggest. I know a lot of credit bureaus will restrict transactions to Central and Eastern Europe, though I'm not sure if Poland is one of those restricted territories.

I hope it was not that once in a lifetime chance of getting extremely lucky, and I wasted it on a $3 game ... XD
just hope the Deals come back at some point in the Sale, the Rotation miracle shall be solved!, so we can get the games we miss now due to this issue..

if it comes back at some point I hope I will be awake, not at work... ^^

No it is not, Poland is in the EU. But I think GoG is registered on Cyprus.
It would be nice if you could reserve a deal until the issue is solved. The problem is know for a while no but nothing happens. :( A comment each hour would be nice. And even if it is just "we still don't know why this is happening". :)

Thanks for the reply.

"The team is well aware of this and working on this as we speak." Ouch, that sounds like a nightshift.
