Hi all! I can confirm it seems we're experiencing some issue on the PayPal side. The team is well aware of this and working on this as we speak, but so far we don't have na ETA for you. We'll provide you with an update as soon as we know something, and in the meantime, all I can recommend is trying a different payment method for now :(


EDIT (0030h CET):

No official news from our payment operator, but indeed PayPal payments appear to be processing perfectly since 20-30 minutes or so.I don't want to jinx it, but it appears to have been fixed. :)

UH OH :( - I logged out then in to see if that would fix the stamp bug on the front page a while ago, and now after everything is confirmed with paypal I get taken to a "something went wrong" page that tells me to contact my Bank like the OP - the only other time I've seen Paypal fail was on a site which bugged out with it's secondary auth feature, which I turned off a while ago. It worked until I re-logged, and I've made payments since then on other sites :(.

EDIT: Straight credit card worked. Entering that is like going to the dark ages XD.

Indeed, in an identical situation: bought a game a few hours ago but now the payment is refused. Very strange but hopefully everything will be solved promptly.

Can confirm the same issue, just tried to gift two games to a friend of mine. Credit card directly as well as by Paypal not working. Bank accounts in both cases in the black, PayPal has same credit card as well as separate bank account. Issue seems to be only regarding purchases through GOG, Steam purchase worked.

Same here (in Finland). Couldn't get payment through Paypal, not even with credit card, even though i could do it 2 hours before. Bye bye Sudeki and Kingdom Rush :( :(

Just got the same error message after trying to buy the Best of Bullfrog bundle with my PayPal account. After that I tried to buy with a credit card, payment went through OK. I can also confirm that the PayPal payment method worked just fine yesterday, as I bought a few games with it.

I bought the Mount and Blade Series yesterday just fine. Now it won't let me use PayPal or my Credit Card for Windforge. I just hope GoG will honor the sale price for those having issues if they can't get it fixed while the game we want is active in the Fall Sale.

Leroux: I had this issue, too. Tried three times without success. Then I logged out, shut down my browser (thereby deleting all cookies and such), re-opened it, logged in and tried again and this time it worked. No idea if it was due to what I did though or just luck, in any case even if it doesn't seem to work right now you might get lucky if you try again later? (Not a solution, of course, just an encoragement not to give up hope.)

Sadly, I think it was just luck. Didn't work the second time I tried it. I've been trying to purchase Sudeki for a while now, in vain.

Also Germany here. My bank is the Volksbank Schaumburg. But I don't think the bank is the problem here. It seems to be more of a global problem between Paypal and GOG.

/EDIT: Just read credit card also didn't work. That's strange.
