Pure insanity, is what it's all come down to.
I'd much rather have a bit higher prices and regional pricing applied to the entire catalogue as opposed to having no option whatsoever to buy certain titles in a DRM free form.

Both the publishers and GOG have to deal with the vagaries of fluctuating exchange rates all the time, I'm pretty sure adding another layer to it won't change their calculus. Price points that are favourable to the publisher today might well be unfavourable to them by next week, and vice versa. Frankly, your posts sound like you don't actually have much personal experience with using different currencies.

Not to argue just for argument's sake, but we still do not know exactly what was the problem with Nordic Games, your assumption seems quite plausible, but it is still an assumption. It appears that most other publishers were able and willing to adjust (or like Daedalic, take advantage of, it seems), so maybe this can be worked out in the future somehow...

Seriously, this is silly. I get having principles, but isn't DRM-free hard enough to maintain as it is? I guess this is what all the pretentious internet warriors wanted by demanding regional pricing. Grr I had to pay $4 instead of $2!!11!@

That would've been pretty far down my list of guesses as well, had someone said "Hey, GOG is going to start selling DRM-free _____!"

If I were them, I'd have waited until there was at least a catalogue of decent titles at hand before debuting it. As it stands I'm unlikely to check it out much, if these titles are representative.

I was looking to buy the black mirror trilogy when all three installments were made available, but now it seems that BM 3 wont even be added (despite the publisher themselves - iirc - stating on the forum that it would be added soon). Its particulary annoying as I understand that BM2 ends on a cliffhanger...

Well, at least I got 1&2 at a heavy discount now...

While I understand in principle why there was such an outcry against the regional pricing, the amounts we're talking about are often barely worth mentioning, especially when games are for sale at incredibly low prices...

Obviously I wasn't referring to newer games when I said $2. Even then, having a higher price is better than not having it available at all.
