Well, I think to be fair, a lot of people are hiding behind a bit of flavor and using it to simply shut down all talk in that area. A lot of people are doing that and acting scummy.
While the flavor as information is great, it's no excuse for scummy behavior, and shutting down conversation hard and fast keeps us from doing anything with the game.
Fine, here's some information: Everyone knows I'm Jack, but I'm also the town's tracker. Starting from the first night, I tracked nmillar/Tiffany, Vitek, and Andy. Tiffany/nmillar and Vitek were both doing absolutely nothing. Andy however...that was hard to read. My view of it is that he was following ME during the night, and turned to look at me as he was entering a house. I also got the feeling that I was being hunted at the same time.
The idea that it was all aliens being our killers is BS, plain and simple. I would point to the canoe as the biggest argument against it. Why would there need to be a hole drilled into it if it was aliens taking over other bodies? Why Violator? Oh wait, I can explain that one from two different angles.
Now, at that point, I had given up a big hint that I had a role, Violator came out to say it, and Rodzaju came out and claimed. Since the only hard evidence was my name, I was left out because there were questions as to what I was, or at least, why I was so tired night 0. Rodzaju was easy because if he believed Mafia was town, he'd be able to stop the lynch and thus help the Mafia along.
Now for Violator (Get the glasses, this one has some Wine). Well, he could have been random, but I doubt that. Now, he could have been killed by outsiders because he could easily point them out by when they came in, newer people to town are more likely to be Mafia. OR, it's possible that he was killed because it was a chance for them to make the newcomers seem like the Mafia. And honestly if I was Mafia at this point I would be doing that.
In terms of the method, the severed spine could have been one of the first steps to the murder, after that there's not much fight while being skinned. And in terms of strength, a young boy is different from a High Schooler in strength, and I can't imagine that prying fried components is something easily done, knife or no knife.
Not placing a vote down, really wanted to get some discussion down here.

^^^ So you're saying you're sure the jelly-people aren't mafia? That's good to know, but it still means we don't know who the mafia are, only a few who they aren't.

I think with ViolatorX's death we lost one of informative roles (town journalist) and any info he got from his night actions is mostly lost now. (He could recognise local/outsider at least).
That's why I'm going to take a page form Twilight's book and share what I have. And no, that's not a call for mass role-claim but on my own these tidbits are not enough to form a solid evidence about anyone.
Separating facts from suspicions:
I'm Mary Wayford, town coroner. On first night I investigated Caitie's death which resulted in disturbed crime scene. Wrapped in that thin sheet of plastic were: wooden coins with Tibetan symbols and severed human finger wrapped in hastily written note, illegible save from words 'Offering' and 'Sranadha'. Apparently I took these items with me.
On second night I got house keys from Justin's lynch scene. I used them next night to broke in.
One of rooms was filled (literally) with books on occult, all of them heavily bookmarked. One of books on writing desk had blank pages but still was bookmarked. I took photo of that room before leaving.
Now for thoughts on that:
By mentioning Sranadha, baz convinced me he was telling the truth, at least partially. Quad also hidden that name in her post #547, which I found out when compiling her posts looking for a reason why she was targeted at night. But I don't know if anyone noticed that.
Pazzer claimed Town Vanilla and yet he was obviously well-versed in Occult lore. He could either a) lied (but why at that point) b) be jelly / have double role (that would mean not only outsiders can be jellies, which is... bad), c) be something else I didn't think of. He knew something that could strengthen town-aligned faction, but I didn't find anything, or cannot make a link between stuff in his house and that piece of info.
Now, Caitie's death was obviously ritual murder. If Pazzer hasn't claimed vanilla, at that point I would think him her killer. Question is, what was that offering for? Protection? Summoning? I don't have enough info here.
Well, that's what I can think for right now. As for confirmation - because I have taken things from crime scene & photo of Justin's room, I guess they could be found on me in case of lynch. Not my preferred way of proving I'm telling the truth though.

If you're telling the truth then you've just painted a huge target on your back, which makes me uneasy. On the other hand, if you're telling the truth, lynching nmillar probably was a good idea, after all, and that's really good news.
On a related note, I think I see what the problem with this game is -- there seems to be so much flavour everywhere that I (and presumably others as well) know absolutely nothing about! Tibetan coins and fingers and whatnot -- it's really hard to make up your mind when you know so laughably little. And I foolishly thought being an alien put me into the "informed" group.

For me, my info when not combined with something more from other players is useless. And I could be targeted regardless, like Quad, and it would be lost then.

Ummmm, no, I'm not saying that at the moment, I just figured I'd open up some wine because something bothered me about the choice of nightkill. And as for reference, I gave my hint for my role after mentioning that I'm sure that nmillar (as Tiffany) was lying about being a local. So far, Everyone I've investigated was clearly mentioned as being outsider, with Andy being notably marked as the Canadian.

Hmmmm, let me expand that. The bottom part of my post where I talk about Violator's death, reasoning, and how Rob could have done it, is sorta how my mind has been working with this game. I've been looking at both sides and seeing, well, what fits, and what doesn't. I started vocalizing that finally because everyone seems to be taking the very obvious and throwing it out there, and like I said, this could make it easy for the Mafia to hide.
Here's the rest of the wine because I think it needs pointing out:
There's a chance that Tiffany WAS Mafia, but simply did not have any special ability, and did not carry out the night kill. Thus all I would see is someone doing nothing.
Vitek, the same thing, there's a chance I did see Mafia who just, in fact, chose not to do anything that night.
Now Andy, I'm not sure what to get at with him. I've been bouncing this one back and forth in my head this entire time. I know he did SOMETHING, but I'm unsure why or what his ultimate role might have been in all of this (perhaps another tracker who was curious as to why I have yet to be on any lynch wagons? I'm unsure)
I'm not sure what else I can add at the moment, but I'll still be here.

Hi, interesting progress we have achieved. I'd like to post more but I am visiting my parents over weekend and I don't have much time to post.
I have time to read it, though, as I can do it via phone, so keep posting please. :-)

Just checking in at the moment; good to see that people are finally sharing information and I'm readying my "I told you so" speech for Rodzaju when the game is over! :)
Anyway, I'm not going to be around much this week since I'm heavily involved in the arrangements for my Grandfather's funeral which is taking place on Thursday. Oh, and I'm climbing Ben Nevis tomorrow ...
