Hello fellow Jacks, looks like I stepped into this party a little late (or... fashionably late, perhaps?)

Anyway, Baz, it IS the random voting stage after all. No need to suspect nmillar for voting rooshandark. I'm just confused at why everyone else is voting for him, instead of the abundance of alternatives out there. Just because he apparently has a doublevote ability doesn't make him any less of a Jack.

Unvote Rooshandark

Firstly, that was NOT the reaction I had expected to see one way or the other by the time I got home, haha. But unvoting because at least I see some things to go off of now.

Not that anyone really asked, but I saw Roosh a 3 votes, and voted the 4th vote on him to push him halfway to a lynch, not because I thought he was Mafia, but to see if I could bait anyone else would blindly jump on board; the L-2 vote (Lynch threshold - 2, which is a theoretical 5th vote in this case) would have been scummy because it allows a person to be within range of two accidental votes "at the same time", which on the first day of a game day (3 weeks long or whatnot) would have been crazy suspicious.

There shouldn't have been a 6th vote anyway even if there was a 5th, since he hadn't even posted yet and there was no justification, but if there had happened to be one, that would have been just about confirmed scum so early on and with him not having posted yet.

Was halfway hoping someone would have voted 5th vote, though I expected to have had to explain my 4th instead heh. It wasn't coordinated though, at least not on my part, I just saw the opportunity when 3 popped up on him, to do some reaction fishing on others. Which of course failed utterly.

Thoughts:

I think Roosh is likely not mafia, and definitely not 3rd party (if applicable), because double voter is nearly always a town asset. Doesn't necessarily mean he'll die though. I'm not sure it's a particularly dangerous thing for Mafia, as it's as likely to mislynch as lynch, just sets the threshold one lower. If he is Mafia, though, then the Lylo stage (lynch or lose) just got a little bit more muddied, so we may have to watch for that if he and the game survives that long, as he can use those both as weapons. But it really doesn't make sense for it to be a mafia role, most likely. Plus if he were Mafia then I don't know why he'd have outed himself so early. I feel him to be town.

Unvote Robbeasy, vote Orryyrro

On a re-read with sufficient caffiene, I was hasty on picking Robbeasy. Meanwhile, Orryyrro is bandwagoning like a band in a wagon. He waited till two or three had put their hand down on rooshandark, then jumped in with no reasoning at all.

And that was his only post. And ever since he's been mostly lying low, staying entirely out of discussion. He says there's a reason for voting rooshandark, who is at lynch minus 3 -- but doesn't tell it at all.

I notice others are voting on him too. And three of those votes happened in such quick succession that I say it was orchestrated: nmillar (who started the thread acting scummy, "kidding on the square" about various players having scumbag tendencies and has since laid rather low), Damnation (who has also tried to avoid the limelight), and Orryyrro.

We found our mafia, guys. Lynch them.

Please remember we're in different time-zones. It's just gone midnight here, so I've been away having dinner, watching a bit of TV and going through the bedtime routine!

Oh, and the reaction to my very early vote for Rooshandark is nothing short of hilarious!

We posted one minute apart there on #62 and #63, so I don't think you saw my post before making yours. I was the 4th vote on Roosh, what makes me any less suspicious than them? Just curious because if I weren't me, I don't exactly see the logical connection on how you would accuse the 3 before me but not me. (Timestamps become "hours ago" etc after a bit so I'm not sure of the exact time increment in between their votes.)

I actually saw your post as I was posting. I originally had you on the list instead of Damnation, but I changed my mind after reading your post.

Im going to meta game here - your posts are in keeping with your other game participations, you have good experience of the Mafia game, no way would I personally see you as Bandwaggonning. I cant speak for Ghost of course, but I pretty much saw the early voting the same way - the first couple of votes on Roosh to get reaction, you added yours to push it towards lynch range, but I do agree with ghost that Orrryyrro had no explanation, no forethought, just dived straight in there.

A) It wasn't my only post.
B) Damnation, nmillar and I all played a Dark Heresy session with Roosh, it didn't go all that well.
C) unvote rooshandark8 because he most likely isn't mafia.
D)vote jesskitten due to their explanation of why they voted for roosh.

That was an attempt at another Mafia 2 joke, just like nmillar's vote itself. Well, at least one person did find it funny (shrug).

In any case, I think we'll agree it is fairly likely that at least one of those who jumped on the rooshandark8 bandwagon is mafia trying to bring about a quick lynch. I do not think it's nmillar who got the wagon going. Which leaves us Damnation, Orryyrro and jesskitten. Rereading the posts of those three, I think I'll unvote nmillar and vote Damnation.
