Hey everyone! I am so sorry, but I unexpectedly had no internet the last couple of days. I'm back now, and will catch up and give vote counts. Once again, my profound apologies!

Ixamyakxim: This could be it right here (the bolded part) as I think this is the second time someone has pointed out to me that "this is just Telika." I'm very much a knee jerk type of player and I'm focusing a bit too much on the fact that on day one, I felt like whenever we were moving in a direction, Telika jumped in with "You're Scum" WALL OF TEXT. I'm very much "here's what I think and why, here's my vote" and whenever I see someone tossing up walls of text my first thought is drowning out those other voices. Something for me to reconsider perhaps.
Nothing wrong with a good wall of text, in fact sometimes I prefer them to short posts. It tends to be about the content of the post, a longer one leaves a lot of room to poke at and see what works and what doesn't, it's a pleasant thing to get involved with. Honestly, look back at what he's writing and use other posts to poke holes in his arguments if you feel that they're weak, it tends to draw out a good debate and benefits the game as a whole. As far as the lynches and how those who weren't on either must be scum, I think that's pushing it just a bit. If one of those two ended up being scum then maybe there would be something to work with, but for the moment there's no reason to consider it. Hell I don't think flub is scum at all, so that's not a wagon that I would support. And at the time I thought Telika was talking about cults too much without cause, and that he was scum and hiding it. Something I feel wrong thinking now.

01kipper: I really don't get the whole hullaballoo about flubbucket. He neither strikes me as scummy,
So, what do you people (and whoever doesn't find flub scummy) make of all these "i'm not just saying he is scummy, i'm saying that he is so OBVIOUSLY scummy tht it has to be on purpose" ? I do find flub scummy, but not to that extent, and the fact that some people don't even find him scummy at all makes me wonder even more about these "scummy beyond scummy" reads.

Twilightbard is not actually saying he find him scummy, or too scummy. He just says he doesn't find him scummy at all - which is an honest point even if I would like to know why Twilightbard doesn't find him the least bit scummy. As for flubbucket, for me its more a case of trying to decide what his motivation was at that time - given that he have since minimized it, I figure currently that it was something related to day 1 - which apparently gives him little benefit now. Hence why I placed him on my "watch list" and is currently more interested in amok and Ixamyakxim (the latter for his "knee jerk reaction" :P).
Finally am I just blind or haven't we heard from SPF yet?

Yes, that's why I'm asking him and kipper about those who find flub "even more than scummy" (those are beyond arguing that flub is scummy, and present it as granted and obvious to the point of only arguing whether it goes full circle or not).

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion :D. I really don't get what they are seeing though, I have not been getting that vibe at all.

I said I don't THINK he's scummy and you know it. It's only two posts above, twisting it to make it sound absolute does sound odd. If I had to give a percentage of how sure, I'd say it's somewhere around 65% sure he's town. I don't find Flub scummy because I see what he's doing as pushing conversation. He's getting out, tweeking people, poking them, and most importantly getting people to react and talk. I'm not going to ding him on style or tone because it's a case of whatever gets the job done.
I might be wrong, but he's putting himself out there and his posts don't really have anything that really strikes me as scum-like. It's mostly gut instinct right now since with no lynch or kill there's not a lot to look into.
I think the hardest part about this question is being tactful. I think that is an excuse. People want a lynch, but they don't want to be wrong and mislynch. So they're positioning themselves so that if someone else takes the risk, and they ended up right, they look like they were pushing for the lynch without being on it, but if he gets lynched and flips town, they have distance from the lynch.

Oops, forgot to vote.
Vote SirPrimalform
As noted above, it is a weak vote scum-vibe, but he is at the top of my list. If it looks like someone else has a better chance of getting lynched (e.g. flubbucket]), then I will move my vote appropriately; we need a lynch of someone to gather information.
Lastly, I forgot to mention nmillar in my list of reads above. This one is a really tough call, because he doesn't talk that much in Mafia games anyway, but I am getting a sort of 'fly-under-the-radar' vibe from him more than usual this time around. I can't put my finger on why exactly.

I assure you, the insubstantiality* of my posts is mostly down to me being busy at work and then too tired to catch up on the game. Also, my cat was bitten by a dog so I had a pretty stressful week last week.
Things have eased off at work now on account of the students finishing for the summer (as do I in a few weeks, yay!). Also, I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that my cat is recovering, but full of resentment at being kept inside and being made to use a litter tray while she heals.
So yes, I'm in the process of catching up. You're right to vote for me for being absent and mostly posting fluff, thank you for playing the game when I wasn't!

Feel free to accuse me of intentional thickness or a deliberate coy ploy unwilling to connect the dots. Especially if it gives you an opportunity to make your point EXPLICIT and UNIVOCAL, just once in a while.
