Could be a number of things. That, or blocked target (although with a full crew that seems surprising), or they can't kill or they are playing games trying to make us believe it's a cult when its not. Many options.

I hope so. If they did not manage it in 12 days, we have a nice and inept group of scum :)

I just remembered - the night had a limit of 17 days, but it only lasted for 11 days, so the night could have lasted 6 days longer. Unfortunately, it looks like all night actions have been completed.

*stretches, yawns, extends arms out in an exaggerated manner* Well, that was a long night! And damnit why'd we have to wake up now that I have all these games to play! ;)

Well it would occur through the odds (with us not really knowing anything) - given that he went AWOL it increases the chance for town (at least in my mind scum players are more likely to stay active (no matter if they are lurking or active ingame)). So yea, town is the likely faction for him, but it does save us a mod kill and a very likely town lynch - while still keeping the chance that he is not town.

Yea, but thats the trouble. I still haven't gotten a grasp on why he is trying to warrant it - hence why I am dubious.

Because we are apparently lacking a replacement for him anyway (so he is not just lurking, but missing). EDIt: That part is truly irrelevant now

Indeed. I won't be posting until I read through the thread, and I haven't even read the entire OP yet. As I warned (in PMs, if no place else, can't remember), I have been crazy busy for the past few days. However, I should be able to catch up tomorrow evening or Monday at the latest; the thread isn't that long yet. How long it takes mainly depends on how crazy you have all been and how many notes I am going to have to record in my 'Black Book of Scumminess'. :)

Just checking in after a hard weekend - and watching England f-up their first footy match...:(

I tried to warn everyone speculation early doors about setup can help no-one and only facilitates the scum team...now there could be several reasons for the Nk not happening. As you can't bolt the gate after the horse has bolted , so to speak, lets look at it...

a) There is indeed a Cult
b) Scum deliberately not targetting anyone to make us believe theres a cult.
c) Protection of some kind
d) Forgot to nominate someone.

As has been noted already, we had 17 days for the night, but appear to have started again early. that would indicate ALL night actions were sent to Mod. This would rule out d).

Looking at b) - I personally don't see how this would help the scum in any way - sooner or later they will have to start killing, so we will all know when this starts happening. I dont see how delaying the killing for one day helps them. We gave them a free pass first day by not lynching, would be stupid of them to let that free pass go first night.

So - a) or c). The way the flavour is written sort of leans towards a cult-ish type game for me - the talk of people being 'swayed' in the flavour at the start of the game, and the way it can 'spread' through us all, could easily indicate a cult. Th lack of NK also backs up this theory.

c) Protection. It could have happened, but the chances are slim , especially with so many players around.

So, in conclusion, I'm going to take it that there IS a cult influence, until someone can definitely prove otherwise.

As for today, I'm still thinking Flubb is the best candidate, but I do take on board what Red_baron has said - he seems almost eager to be lynched, which is making me wary now....

Anyway , lets get our shit together today shall we people - 17 days only to nominate. Lets not let it bumble on towards another no-lynch.
