As much as I like the don't-bother-distributing-spells sorcerer and neigh-invincible monk, I think I'll have an easier time role-playing a paladin, ranger, or decently intelligent fighter.
I do like role-playing, but have a difficult time playing another personality than my own.
I also have no knowledge of 4e rules, but have 3.5e books, and have come to understand part of 2e/AD&D from the Infinity Engine games.
I'd be happy with some type of mage or cleric, but bear in mind I'm a total n00b so I'll just fit in around other people.
Also, have we picked what edition or whatever that we'll be playing? I have no idea of differences, and have no books to go on...
I currently play a Rogue called Garrett (lol).
I stay out of all the trouble, just rolling Search and Hide checks all the time and getting in trouble with the Christians. They hated me until I gave them 'fine garments' worth 300 gold each.
Which is hilarious, since our DM is a Christian.

Sure thing, we got spots. Fill in the poll and I'll redo the stats.
OK, I'll post the conclusions of the poll tomorrow morning as well as some options of play based on the findings.

Any word yet?
I'm actually quite excited at the prospect of some proper RPGing.
hmmm... meh, I hope GoG DnD sessions will continue, I'll pour my time into something else now :D

time travel?
Doctor Who?
Everyone moving to the same country?
I like the time travel idea, we can rescue the old B&W BBC shows that got destroyed, come back and sell them to make bucketloads of cash.
Then we could afford to build a space station to gather the select few and threaten to rain destruction upon the world unless they capitulate to our rather excessive ransom demands.
We could also wedge in playing some D&D if we have time

Could run it more like an e-mail or forum game. Wave documents are, if I understand correctly, persistent, like Google docs spreadsheets or what have you. It would slow down the pace horribly, though. I haven't used Wave much though, so I could be entirely wrong.
ooo, this looks interesting
Hello, I would be interested in giving this a go. I have never played tabletop DnD (I have played Icewind dale and Baldur's gate for what it's worth).
I tried to get an online roleplaying game going on the bioware site. No dice, no DM, more like the group of us adding our own little part to the story from the perspective of individual characters. Was pretty cool and lasted several pages.
I have a google wave invite already, I just need to complete it. I think I filled out the form I saw attached earlier but not sure if it was submitted successfully. I live in the UK, recently finished uni but am unemployed so I have alot of free time.
So, now what?

Just to give everyone a heads up, if this ever gets going, I'm formally calling bagsies on the purple text colour. All your purples are belong to me

You son of a bitch!
Edit: Never mind, I didn't really have anything to say.
