As our catalog gets bigger and better every week, it’s easy to lose track of some of the awesome games that we have to offer. Of course Fallout, Baldur’s Gate, and some other of our most popular titles will always get a lot of attention, but GOG has many more classics to bring you. To help encourage you to explore the dustier reaches of GOG’s catalog, we’re going to be offering a promo on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Think of it as a curated promo on some of GOG’s favorite titles that you may not have played. Whether we’re encouraging you to explore incredible new worlds or inviting you to see how a titanic series got its start, we think every game we’re going to be offering on our GOG Gem Promos will be an excellent title, and we hope you give them all a try.

UPDATE: because of the site maintenance we're prolonging the Gem Promo for 1 hour. It ends at 7:59 a.m. EDT (11:59 GMT).

It's the first Wednesday of May and we have another bargain deal for you featuring an adventure game like no other. Syberia, by a famous Belgian comic artist and game developer Benoit Sokal, is considered by many the game that saved the point and click adventures genre. As Kate Walker, young and ambitious lawyer, you're set to negotiate the takeover of an old toy factory. What seems an easy task, ends up as a journey across Europe to reach the far lands of Syberia. Critically acclaimed, the game is perfect in every element featuring beautiful art nouveau and steampunk designs, intelligent and gripping script, intriguing main character and very good soundtrack. We believe everyone should try this game and with the 60% discount it's a no-brainer.

Grab Syberia today for only $3.99! The promo ends tomorrow, May 5 at 6:59 a.m. EDT (10:59 p.m. GMT).
Quite an entertaining game. However, I prefer the sequel. The first one was, in my opinion, a bit too eclectic. I just could not find the game world believable.

Still, it's definitely worth playing.
finaly managed to buy this game :) I have never finished it so now is the time to do things right.
Buy this game, people. Buy this game.
I have a few adventure games to play already so not sure I want to another to my backlog(if it were Longest Journey or Gabriel I would've jumped for sure though). I'll consider it anyway though.
One of my all time favorites. If you haven't played it yet, buy it. Its a great adventure at a great price.
Just bought. Been intrigued by this one for awhile, just hadn't gotten around to buying it. Probably end up buying the sequel sooner or later.
