Ah, I only have one account on my Windows 7 install so I guess all programs are already set as that. Thanks though.
Edit: Wouldn't really call that a modification as much as a user error.

If you turned off UAC, yes. Otherwise you'll probably notice some games throwing up the familiar "are you sure you want to run this" dialog box.
Bumping the thread because I just installed Windows 7 and it saved my life. =D

You can add this fix for Total Annihilation
If you play Total Annihilation with Win7 you will probably get the 'inverted colors syndrome'
The fix is quite easy.
1st.
Make a completely black desktop .jpg (wallpaper)with MS Paint.
2nd.
Add it to your desktop background slideshow.
3rd.
Before playing, uncheck all slideshow pics except the black one
4th
Go kill with your k-bots and tanks.
5th.
After game re-enable your slideshow pics
thread posted in here
Pro Pinball games works fine under Windows 7 x64.
Just to clarify, for Fallout 2 some Win 7 users may experience a psychadelic effect when starting the game up.
The fix is to copy ddraw.dll from Fallout 1, or to request it from a member and then copy it to your FO2 directory.
Also, for Vampire: Redemption, if you experience the issue where you cannot overwrite saved games, you must go to the V:R folder and set it to allow indexing.
Other than that I can't think of anything to add, apologies if these fixes have been mentioned already, I didn't read the whole thread.
I would think since there are so very few issues that GOG will at some point fix them and then put Win7 up officially on the site. They can't stay XP/Vista forever after all.
I hope nVidia fixes the Gothic games at some point... not sure GOG could do anything there. nVidia drivers lately have been CRAP. I am still on the 197s because everything after is terrible (and doesn't work with nHancer).

According to the forums they have fixed the problem but only for 32-bit Windows 7. :(
Septerra Core works fine on Windows 7
Oops, made an accidental reply and now I cannot delete it!

I played the following GOG games on windows 7 (64 bit):
Another World
Constructor
Darkstar One
Disciples 2 Gold
Earth 2140
Earth 2150 Trilogy
Evil Genius
Master of Orion 1 and 2
Raptor - Call of the Shadows
Realms of Arkania Pack
Unreal 2 - The Awakening SE
Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption
Note that i did run into some tehcnical difficulties, but none of them was Win 7 specific (I think).
Also, The list would be shorter if you collected the unplayable games...in my experience, what works on Vista works on win 7 almost without fail. Games using DosBox will probably work fine on all systems, as DosBox is Win7 compatible as far as I know.
