iippo: Whoa - what a list.

I played the single player through back when it was released. Rather interesting mushroom trip of a game. I liked it, not sure if i should have :)

Anyways, suppose i should give a new go at some point. Very bold game, nice that the developer is puts some effort in to it. I wonder if they have corrected any of the story stuff? There was some pretty interesting english here and there...
They do suggest some language fixes in the change log, but I don't think anything got seriously revamped. As for the game itself, it's a game that is far too ambitious for what its developers could possibly do, and somehow manages to pull it off in a working fashion. I found it to be the most fun playing coop with a friend - not because 'everything is more fun with a friend', rather because you can go much more crazy in your builds when you can supplement each other (and I'm not suggesting you can't do crazy builds while playing alone, I did a build aimed purely at hacking and cloack - as long as there were enough enemies in the vicinity, I was able to repeatedly steal their energy thus prolonging my cloack indefinitely, and to remotely explode their brains or possess them, one by one. Brilliant.)

Well, i suppose the language is part of the "experience". Just like the "plot" ;)

...if anyone can explain me E.Y.E's plot in some understandable way after a play through, ill offer a pizza. This offer also stand for explaining me plots of Serial Experiments Lain and Neo Genesis Evangelion (after the first watch).
This isn't Deus Ex, this is Cyberpunk. And I am not talking about the genre, I mean the Pen and Paper RPG classic by Mike Pondsmith. Obviously it has no direct relation with Cyberpunk 2020, but when it comes to the feeling of stalking through a tech-noir future city, nothing compares to E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy.

Have no doubt it's not perfect, but what this small team did with their game is more impressive than many so called 'AAA' titles. It oozes passion and love for their creation and for the cyberpunk genre in general. And considering it's $5 dollars on steam right now, what do you have to lose?
I
absolutely LOVE the game. I adore it. It's the most near the perfect combo of an art form of a devastating sort and an EXCITING and THRILLING thinker's game.
I've only played a couple of levels in this game since I first bought it but it IS pretty great! Fun gameplay, great graphics, quirky mechanics that are barely explained, a story that makes no sense and a really effective atmosphere, what more could you want from a cyberpunk game?

Oh, reminds me of when I have first played it.

Holy shit, there's a research tree! It's not just a bunch of random buffs you can get, there's an entire fucking research tree! In my FPS!

Yes hahaha. There are two major gameplay mechanics that aren't even assigned keys in the beginning of the game! If I hadn't checked the controls menu I wouldn't have found the Psi Force and Cyber mechanics.
This game is awesome once you get passed the technical issues, the rough edges and learn its mechanics. It's even better in multi player to be honest but unfortunately the network code is rather weak as well. Are they still updating it?

Well... They might. The last update was released about a year ago, however the game was released 3 years ago and it took a year to release that update as well. It's an extremely small team.
Nice surprise to see this thread rise again (it's fine ! it's cybermancy !!)

I remember having a blast on the earliest build (yuh, that much.) and prevented myself to play too much in order to convince friends to come along for a multiplayer odyssey. But the multi patches came later, the whole thing sits on the backlog since. I won't stop gaming as long as I haven't went through this one.
I like the game, but it has some pretty nasty bugs, some technical issues, a bad translation (Thank god for the better translation patch!), and some confusing parts.

It's a really fun game once you get around to it, though. Stupid Interceptors...
An overlooked part of this game is just how fantastic it is graphically, both in art style and graphics quality. It looks absolutely great!
Here is a question for those of you who have finished the game, when your mentor tells you to hurry up/don't waste time etc, is a time limit in place or is it just motivational dialogue?

Awesome, I thought that was the case but I wanted to make sure.
