Game is out on Steam now, no other platforms. You want to bitch about Steam then do it in one of the other 100 threads so this one doesn't get derailed.

The game is Dark Messiah of Might and Magic with guns. There are plenty of RPG elements and shooting but the main emphasis is on how you tackle a situation like in Dark Messiah. Even though are a few different ways for objectives which gives it the Deus Ex vibe.

The writing is hit or miss because of a hilarious translation but the tone of the universe is awesome. Can't say much on the plot because I'm only 3 hours in but it has that mysterious Deus Ex vibe.

I would recommend the game soley because its an FPS/RPG that draws from Deus Ex, Warhammer 40K, Dark Messiah, and Fallout: New Vegas (reputation system).
I noticed this game earlier. It definitely looks interesting, but for some reason I doubt I'll get it anytime soon.
Will likely get it when the inevitable 80% off steam sale happens.

Looks like an unholy mix of deus ex and wh40k, and that is just too strange to not even try.

This game is out now? I heard about it a lot about a year ago, and then after that I heard nothing. Might have to get it.
I got it. Cyberpunk makes me buy things I otherwise would not.

Seems okay so far but very rough. I don't mean indie rough like there's no quest markers and shit, I mean rough like you generally have no idea what you are doing and the dialogue is barely understandable. Also for an ugly source engine game it runs kind of ass.

THAT SAID, it has potential. For one thing there are endless customization options and paths to take your character. 10 or so stats plus like 16 cyber enhancements to level up and purchase. You combine mutations to create your baseline, which is neat. You're playing some kind of triple agent for the EYE who is undercover within a faction fighting another faction while the EYE itself is fighting the Federation who are fighting some force of creatures. It's pretty deep if it actually allows you to interact and choose from these factions.

Shooting feels iffy, might be the performance issues. I like that enemies die in a hit or two though rather than being bullet sponges like in New Vegas. Weapons seem alright... you start with a ton of them open to you and can fill your inventory at armament stations. Not sure how widespread those are.

Agreed, cyberpunk stuff is an instabuy for me as well :D

I agree as well with the rough comment; the hacking menu is confusing as hell :/

The English, spelling, and grammar needs work too

It says English as my audio under Options, yet it sounds like Russian whenever people have spoken

I am liking it though. It runs like a dream for me and seems quite atmospheric so far. Definitely has potential as you've said
The game just looked like it tried to do too much from just watching the trailer and nothing really jumped out and said buy me.
This is the number one top selling game now on Steam which I found strange for a not known indie game.

First impressions from someone after 3 hours of play HERE on the Steam forums
I'd heard complaints like "bug-ridden" and "unpolished" (unpolished I can understand as an indie title, as everyone's spoiled by commercial game eye-candy but an Indie company with something to prove ought to take care with their first big release as far as ironing out bugs), but I like the comparison to Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. While Deus Ex allowed from some "jack-of-all-tradery", Dark Messiah did not. You picked a path and stuck with it, or you played the hard way (you could max out the fighter skill set and still spend a point or two in the rogue or mage set, as some of the utilitarian stuff vital to completing the game was low on the skill trees; for instance, you had to at least be able to use a bow to use the Rope Bow to get through a particular area, and the Heal spell is indispensable).

I don't know why they didn't submit the game's script (text stuff, not actual code) to foreign language proofreaders, but I'm sure there's a dedicated board for submitting errors for future patching somewhere. Even natively English stuff has grammatical and spelling errors.

I do agree with this one complaint I've read where the guy started the tunnel level, and equipped himself for tunnel fighting/CQB, but the level quickly "opened up", and was populated by enemy AI that could spot you from way off. I mean, it was like, "in DooM, when you fire any weapon all monsters anywhere in the level are immediately aware of your exact location" the way they could spot the player.

Localization is expensive. Very. Expensive.
Okay I actually judged this game too harshly and too quickly. One of the main problems with indie games and Eastern European games is the lack of tutorializing and explanation. Normally this is not a big deal because it's stuff we have done a hundred times and don't need hand-holding for, but that game is a bit worse than others.

In any event, the game gets very good after a few hours of playing and further understanding of what it is. It IS multiplayer centered, I can't imagine anyone having a real argument otherwise. It IS kind of like an MMO in that character progression is why you are playing. It is NOT Deus Ex: The Indie Version, which I think a lot of people were hoping for. It is NOT Precursors or STALKER with cyberpunk themes.

Basically it is Borderlands without loot but with greater character customization, combined with Deus Ex style and abilities. The basic gameplay is you have a hub world from which you launch missions. Main campaign missions take you to new areas and have a rough storyline framed around them. You can also take side missions in areas you already played for bonus money and exp that have no real story ("destroy the enemy radar beacons!"). In very blunt terms the hub area has like 8 doors you can enter that go to 8 different maps (huge maps) and on these maps are MMO style missions where you blow something up, kill something, hack something or simply reach a destination. In the main story these maps change every mission and there is a thin story around it all, in side missions it is just exp farming.

For singleplayer gamers if you love cyberpunk and character development in an FPS it is worth a playthrough I suspect but I doubt you will fall in love with it. The enemies are basically bots and the missions are thinly developed. For coop gamers I think this could be a real great game... like Borderlands but dedicated to the PC, cyberpunk flavored and with deeply customizable characters.

I think that's a pretty good summary.
It looks intriguing, but I think I'll wait till they iron out a few issues... and go on sale :)
I was considering this but the save system put me off, here is a faq about the game :
