Simply go on its store page on Origin and download it. It's a full game access, and the 168 hours countdown will start as soon as you boot the game for the first time, so doesn't include download time.
You can play both single and multi-player.
After those 168 hours, the game will disappear from your library but hey, it's a way to play for free the single-player campaign :P
It's another 'lets try and get new people on origin by offering them some shareware!'

by shareware i'm meaning you don't get (or can keep) the full game unless you pay for it...
with that game's quality, i'll wait until they start paying us to play it :D
pretty cool idea. would definetely try the game out if my gaming computer was not broken and sent for repair.
If only it were 168 hours of play time ;))

It is. You have 168 hour to spend on the game, after that the game won't work anymore.

?

are you sure? that's amazing. 168 hours is what I spent on baldurs gate or fallout 2. and maybe transport tycoon over period of 20 years.
If someone is holding out a piece of candy while holding a chainsaw you're still going to run away.
Not worth it.
Considering the last "free promo" type thing I installed from them ninja installed securom on my comp, I am staying the hell away from their promos.

Nevermind that you have to work and sleep. 168 sounds like a lot of hours, but that's linearly. Translated it's only 7 days... If you have say 8 hours to put in a day, you get 52 hours of gameplay. If you have only 2 hours, you only get 14 hours of gameplay...

168 only sounds impressive... Only jobless teenagers who are able to run off of a huge cache of mountain dew and probably snacks (pizza or pretzels or something) could actually play 100 hours or more in that given free time.

Probably I will finish to download it on Sunday, and I will beat only the sp campaign on easy :P

Cool deal for someone who wants to try out the game, you could easily beat the single player campaign over the upcoming weekend.I know I'd never have the time, juggling several games as it is. But thank you for the heads-up Snake.
Damn EA are really getting desperate to get more people to sign up to Origin. Let's all hope this is because their losing a lot of money since not putting their stuff on Steam.
Can someone confirm how big BF4 installed actually is?.
