RWarehall: And all hail the upcoming Holiday sale! ;)
I think you're joking but can't tell. It seems like GOG has been having sales continuously since last month. Is there really going to be another sale over the holidays? Very cool if so since I'm hoping to get some cash or gift cards that I can use to gift games that are on sale to other people. For instance the timing of this sale and the secret Santa game was bad for me personally because I have no money now when the sales are happening but I should later though when the sales were over. Being a student doesnt afford you to spend too far in advance you know.

Edit: and seeing all the bundles on the front page, I thought this was the last weekend for the sale and came here for confirmation until I read your post.

This is the end of the Winter Sale indeed, but we're speculating that there will be another sale. Whether it will be called Holiday or Christmas or New Year's, that remains to be seen.

Grargar:
Ok thanks. I guess take the wait and see approach. I remembered reading somewhere that GOG didn't want to compete with Steam sales so that's why they did it early. That's probably another reason I thought this sale was over untill I read rwarehalls comment. A lot of you are in the loop it seems so i never know what to think. Or maybe making educated guesses.
Logged in to check what's new with the sale, saw a bundle encore, and the only thing that comes to mind is - that's it?

If GOG's going to have another sale this soon, it better be something really fresh, I really can't stand being this bored, and so soon.

Hi everyone...not much to say today except to share something that really spoke to me, and is probably something we can all relate to in one way or another.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtiowtWMHxI

I hope that whatever travails people are suffering, that they find comfort and joy where they may. I hope that people's lives are made just a little bit easier by positive influences.

(That entire movie the scene is from won't be ruined if you watch it, and I do recommend a full viewing.)

I suspect if they do a Holiday sale of some sort it will be a weekend event.

Good afternoon and you're welcome. The backup list will continue, at least till I get incredibly bored.
avatar
RWarehall: Was hoping for at least two new bundles though.
Yep. I was disappointed about this, too.

Ragnarblackmane: ...
Thank you for sharing the clip and the sentiment, Ragnar. It's been nice reading your comments on the thread. It's not actually a film I have seen, but as you know, I am not a very big TV/movie watcher, so it's not really surprising.
If this is going to be the format going forward, I'm going to totally change up how I do things. No more impulse anything and wait until the last chance whatever. It'll be cold, it'll be calculating, there'll be no energy to it, boring as all hell, but at least I will be able to plan things out so I'm not missing stuff by the end of a sale.
The bundles pretty much always work this way with a last day or two sale of all of them.
Bleh. I was just hoping they'd add a surprise new bundle. Maybe later they'll surprise with a new game in the slow cycle. The forums is the only reason I've kept the site open in this sale. You are all fun.

I like Stilton's idea. Put it all out there instead of the artificial drip feed. After thread tracking for days, not exactly a fan of anything timer-based.
