It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

mrkgnao: A lot of developers already refrain from updating their games on GOG; please encourage more to do so.
- If an unruly developer nevertheless updates their game on galaxy, please find as many ways as possible to ensure that this update does not sully the offline installers.
This is not a rule, and i hope they gonna provide updates. What is not making me happy is that they are removing the "old version", as this one might be critical at some point or for certain uses.

For many games, if possible... i got several versions backed up. But GoG is usually removing any older version... i do NOT recommend this.

For example when modding: You provide a new version and the mods are not compatible with... the big mess can start. Or the update is breaking something huge... then a rollback may be critical. Or the update is of zero value as it only is making matters worse, for example censorship... so yeah, we need ALL options.

Updating games is sometimes a very bad thing. Like when they "updated" Chuchel solely in order to censor it. Had GOG instead never updated that game, that indeed would have been way better.

Yeah, I'd rather have my whole library stuck with outdated builds with years-long-unsolved issues.

AMONG WHICH NO ACHIEVEMENTS! XD

I have several:

1. This may seem unimportant, but probably easy to add since GOG already tracks how many reviews we posted. Allow us to view all our reviews in one page, or at least make them easily findable and editable from the store page. I like writing reviews, and I enjoy seeing people finding them helpful.

2. More payment options, preferably something like wallet codes or gift cards. I'm sure some people have trouble making online international payments, or simply don't have credit cards.

3. More free games, lol. I'm already happy with them giveaways during Summer and Winter, but one during their anniversary would be nice! Especially if its an amazing hidden gem like Venetica...
Nevermind, sorry

Paraharaha: My modest expectations for surprises that are appropriate for an 15 years anniversary:
(...)
Gog gifting a brand new car & printer to every active forum member
(...)
I already have a printer. Can I please get the Premium upgrade for my car, instead?

Cavalary: Maybe the problem is with the "soon". Maybe leave it as "upcoming" or something?
Sorry, I should clarify that the issue I have with 'Coming soon' was with the 'Upcoming' tab on the home page. There are only 10 slots and some games get essentially pinned there for years, while others just naturally cycle out of it.

I realize now my earlier post reads like I'm just agreeing with the label 'Coming soon' in general being an issue, which isn't my personal view (eg: I have Stalker 2 in my wishlist as essentially a bookmark), so I've edited it.

Some Win 95 games that don't run on 64-bit windows. Like Super Solvers Gizmos & Gadgets.
Civilization 2!!!

Probably not quite so unrealistic wishes: Fallout 4, Doom (2016), Rage 1+2

Paraharaha: Here´s hoping this is not too much to ask.
Some of these wishes are a double-edged sword ...

We all know that owning a printer is sure to attract false friends or even lovers who are only after the paper.

And what if after learning the winning lottery numbers someone tries to use time travel to make sure GOG never spills them to the public, so that only the time traveler will remember and get a bigger jackpot? Wait, maybe this has happened already and we all got screwed, except for one of us ...

Ah, yes, in that case definitely, that tab should list the games that will come the soonest, or at most be split between a few big titles that they want to ensure users will come here and those that will come the soonest, maybe with the "big titles" highlighted in that case, so it'll be clear why they're there.
Though, of course, all of the tabs listed there should allow going further through the list anyway, page by page.
Nevermind, sorry.

To get my goddamn Cyberpunk back
I wish that GOG will regain trust after their recent server issues.

Also fixing spambots problem would be nice:
1. Limit number of opened new threads by user per few hours.
2. Allow posting on forums after spending few bucks in GOG store.
3. Hire more moderators? Existing ones are on summer vacation...
