Not that it matters to any of you, but POTCO was enjoyed by kids, tweens, teens, and ADULTS alike (from 2007-2013). As someone whom has never considered myself the atypical "gamer," POTCO drew my interest in during the moment in time when interest was high towards the onset of the POTC films. How inconsiderate of all of you to simply dismiss a game which you simply know_NOTHING about!
So...you could care less if POTCO makes headway here on Gog.com. Tell you what, I could care less what you thought as your opinions won't impact the player-base of POTCO which exists still to this day, all because the impact the game had on people across the world.
As you sit there, jeering/laughing at players who decided to further make an effort to promote the revival of POTCO, know this: the loyalty and love people do have for the game is **genuine** If you don't believe me, review this thread that I am including below (which explains the FULL EXTENT players and fans alike have gone to convince Disney/Disney Interactive to revive POTCO).

Although the effort failed, that's not really the point now...IS IT? Then again, I am speaking to a bunch of POTCO "haters" whom would rather judge than find out for themselves why the game touched the lives of thousands.

And. By the way. We are/were.. a community torn apart in less than 1 month. We had our game taken away with ONE months notice. Your all gonna say " well oh, that's a lot of time, quit yo cryin' " but, it really is not a lot of time. Thousands of people played this game, for some it was a part of life, for some it was just an every day game. But to us still on the forums - it is a treasured memory, a memory we hope some day will return to us and greet us with Rusty Cutlasses. And yah, thanks for the " awesome " welcome, it was FAR too KIND. -.-!
