i hope they do it within a week.i am a seaman and there is no connection at sea,at least not for personal use.and when we are at ports,we can only find connections at limited speed and data use,that is if we are lucky.i bought this game in october and release date was february back then.now next weekend i am going back to work and wont be around for another 6 months.so,i hope they make it possible next week so at least i can dload it now,and when release date comes i can at least dload remaining release files or whatever activates the game in next port and play the game without waiting for another 6 months..

Community Manager Chris Priestly also mentioned that a lot more footage and gameplay is coming, and explained why we’re being quite literally flooded with it lately:

“Sorry, there is still plenty more to come, including GOG doing a live Twitch stream next week.
If you do not want to see it, do not watch it. We are appealing not just to hardcore fans, but to casual fans, fans of games similar to Wild Hunt that may not have heard of it and game players in general. The more cool assets, gameplays, videos, screenshots, etc, the better.”

He also explained that a “safe” estimate for pre-loads on the PSN, Steam and GoG.com of one week, even if he’s not 100% sure.

“We are still working with GOG, Steam, Sony, etc on pre-loads and do not have an exact date yet. I think Sid’s estimate of 1 week is safe, but it isn’t a sure thing yet.”

We should "expect" preload to be activated @ 1 to MAX 2 weeks before the release date..

You should worry much more about the "small file" you need to download exactly @ the release hour.

The same method were used @ the Witcher 2 release - and there WAS a HUGE problem with it... (servers down).
