Yeah, nothing is working for me to show download speed. I mean what is going on, its like GoG Galaxy is in Beta or something? =P =D

Opening up task manager on Windows it is showing downloading at my full speed my ISP offers, which is 5.7 to 6.0 Megabytes/sec.

Yup though for a beta client its pretty nice.

They even got the achievements already listed for the game, and its not taking up screen space, but there if you want to know. and click it.

But yeah it beta is beta, but the download speeds and everything aren't fluxing which is always good, at-least for me.
I'm not fully sure, but should be.

The only option that is currently available for the game download is the pre-load(and of-course some of the extra things). Those options if things go like most pre-loads should unlock a little before release or on release has the final part of the download.

Yeah, the beta client is doing pretty well, other than not showing speed, I have no issues with it. But I wish I didn't click on "More" and saw the achievements, major spoilers on that list

You guys are very lucky. Some of you are complaining about their 2mb/s or 1.5mb/s or even 0.4mb/s
While I am stuck with my 0.1mb/s :/ I'm sure if GOG GALAXY could show the numbers in kb/s..... mine would be around 20kb/s.... Now I only hope I can achieve the 0.2-0.4 mb/s at night...

Good luck, friend. I really hope you get the entire game downloaded before release hour. I also hope that the patch is included or will be rolled out before release hour as well.

Not everyone has fast enough internet to download these big files quickly. I happen to be one of the lucky ones with access to fast internet so I've already finished my pre-load, but I want EVERYONE to be able to play upon release without having to wait for the game to finish downloading, or worse have te game finished but then need to wait on a patch before playing!

I'm downloading file with 1 MB/s
With my previous calculations (for 40 GB) it would have taken 666 minutes :P
Now it appears around 7 hours. I'm so glad that they gave us opportunity to download game before the launch.

Am also only getting 0.1mb/s :-( (but i have a 10Mbps plan and there is no problem with the network, I think servers are overloaded)

I'm from Slovakia where we do not have good internet in little cities as mine... but 20 kb/s that's pretty rare :D

I'm pulling down 12mb/s in the western US, so maybe it's a regional thing.

OFC it is.... it depends on your service provider and technology they use at your place. For example we have 10 Mbit/s Download and 1 Mbit/s Upload on Metalic .... that's maximum they can offer us cuz we do not have there optical network ;)

Living in Denmark, northern Europe. Some of the best connections in the world, and downloading my game with 0.2MB.
