Atlantico: Yeah, that's a real shame, but for some reason CDPR favors nvidia. Witcher 1 was nvidia "optimized". Don't remember if W2 was the same.
I generally "click-through" intro (thanks for feature, by the way, hope W3 will retain it, I HATE games that does not allow us to skip this part), but I think it has Nvidia blah-blah too.

Atlantico: Witcher 3 would be so amazing on AMD's Mantle, it's basically the only stunning feature of Dragon Age Inquisition is the Mantle mode, shadows, lighting and effects are simply on a level above DX11.
Can you provide comparison screenshots, please? I've been trying to find some, but I can't spot any difference on those videos/screenshots provided. Thanks in advance.

Zurvan7: yeah mantle is an amazing thing when implemented right. I just bought my r9 290 and mantle makes things sooo much smoother.
Yeah, but there is competitor from green tribe who wouldn't agree to Mantle domination. Plus there is geeky-wackie Microsoft with their... "strange" decisions, to put it mildly, and DX, and Gabe "Half-Life 3" Newell with OpenGl.

Zurvan7: I think it will be something useful when games start to utilize more cores of the processors. Cause right now single processor use is AMD's weakest point.
Yeah, some software, not just games, very CPU-dependant, yet unable to utilize more than 1 core efficiently look about as ironic as graphic-hungry games, that cannot into Crossfire or SLI. When they can into one, but not another (ahem, Euro Truck Simulator 2:)), that starts looking like religious reasons. ;)

apehater: JudasIscariot is a agent secretly working for steam, that explains that thievish avatar :)

How do you guys know for sure that the OP has not traveled back in time from the future, to say... buy a copy of NOLF or NOLF2 while it was still available, but inadvertently forgot to return to the present time which for him was after The Witcher 3 was released and got confused by the different timelines before posting? Now, one might say that he confirmed his mistake above, but that could simply be going along with everyone else so as to not tip anyone off as to his time travel abilities.

Anyhow, under this premise, one potential solution to the problem is to enter the time displacement device and set it to return back to the original time period and hope that any decisions you made in what is the present time right now for the rest of us do not have ripple effects propagating forward into your own timeline that might cause you to be unable to play The Witcher 3. For example, if you return back to your timeline and find that the game is only available in Japan and Geralt is an anime character, then you made some terrible decisions while you were here back in time.

Incidentally, what was it that made you decide to come back in time anyway, were you trying to download your GOG game collection before the great unbundling event or something? Just curious! Don't tell us anything that might compromise your ability to return to the future though!

One final thing... Which VR solution turns out to be the most popular in your timeline, is it the Valve/HTC one or the Oculus, or something else?

I miss your old avatar.

This one makes it look like you are in the Witness Protection Program.
I hope GOG fixes this issue soon, without any delays!

I decided to change it up for a while and go retro-pixelated. :)
