Nope to both.
I think I've seen this game before, but I don't remember the name of it.
This is Dordogne

Unfortunately this is something that I'd probably buy but isn't on GOG.

In the meanwhile, perhaps you can enjoy Summer Memories: Deluxe Edition or Expedition 33. GOG says that they are similar games, and happens to sell them.

GOG is being drunk. Dordogne is an adventure game with a watercolor style. Superficially, Calico would be the most similar. However I suspect that it is actually more like Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery from what I know of the game.

It is indeed, a lovely game (though I haven't finished it yet due to being distracted by other stuff). Thankfully my 1050ti can run it in 4k (4x DSR on my 1080p monitor) as the aliasing is quite bad at native 1080p.

It's a narrative adventure game, pretty easy puzzle-wise, near walking sim level. It alternates between you playing as an adult woman, who is missing memories of a specific period of her childhood, as she explores her late grandmother's house triggering those memories, and playing as her child self within those triggered memories.

Anywho, your turn!

Screen Shot #1: Say hello to the evil book!

User Interface has been cropped out.
(I'm playing this one right now.)

edit -- Oops. I just noticed that only one of the screen shots that I meant to post got posted. It's still evil book time.

Veil of Darkness?

I haven't played it, but I recognized the dude in the sunglasses. It's sort of a horror RPG, isn't it?

You are correct. This is Veil of Darkness, which is actually one of my favorite DOS oldies. Even though it is sold as an RPG, you don't gain experience, don't have character stats, and enemies don't drop anything. If anything, the game is more of an adventure game with an isometric POV more typical of the later Ultima RPGs plus real time combat. If you set the combat difficulty to easy, it becomes even more of an adventure game that masquerades as an RPG.

Anyway, it is now your turn.
Ok, sounds like a fun one. I'll try to post a new one later today.
Here you go guys, have fun!

Ok, I get the sense another clue might be needed. I know that first one isn't much to go on.
