Up to 75% off System Shock 2, Wings, Rocket Ranger, Earth series and more!

It's the weekend! And that means it's also time for another sale. The games are so good, we just had to come up with an awful pun to make up for it. It's Weekend Promo: FUNdamentals, with discounts up to 75% off!

How could we not start with System Shock 2 - an absolutely legendary FPS/RPG hybrid that's paved the way for not just the Bioshock series, but a huge number of modern day shooters. If you you think you've gotten all you can out of the game already, you have to check out the recently released System Shock Infinite mod which expands the story far beyond the ending of the base game - an informal sequel to the title you know and love (or are about to have a major crush on).

If you haven't played Double Fine's Psychonauts yet, now's the time. Seriously. We've also got classic adventures, including the creepy-crawly Bad Mojo Redux and the terrifying I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, RPG epics including the Two Worlds series, and some emulated retro Amiga action with Rocket Ranger and Wings. Strategy fans - we've got you covered with Defender of the Crown and the Earth twenty-one-something series!

As always, there's more gaming goodness to be had up to 75% off - so check out this weekend's DRM-free FUNdamentals on GOG.com! The promo will last until Tuesday, March 31 at 0359Z, or 3:59 AM GMT.

Grargar:
Yeah, unfortunately I wouldn't hold my breath on Night Dive. I dunno if GOG pissed them off or what but they did a total about face. I'm still waiting for NAM.

The differences with the Retroism games are two:

a) They are not entirely published by Night Dive. Tommo has a hand in them too.
b) They have never officially commented on the possibility of those games coming to GOG (as opposed to Strife), as far as I know.

Thanks for the laugh Typo Generator! :D

As the hours are winding down (around 3 hours left), I'll just say thanks for the promo GOG. I picked up titles I liked (such as Bad Mojo Redux) in past sales but I had my eye on System Shock 2. I'll probably pick this up at a different time while my wallet recovers from past promos this month. I did support the wishlist for the new patch for the game so let's see what happens.
Owned most, bought several more as $1.79 soundtracks at least.

Only missing three: two that I own on Steam and don't come with enough extras here (Enclave and Psychonauts) and then the lambasted Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire. Hopefully I'll hold out and not end up with 'you own all items' message yet again!
When you while playing the demo of a game almost miss the end of the promo it's about time to buy the full version of the game ... :)

What game was that? sounds like a long demo.

No, more like a late start. :)

It was Gorky 17. Although it looked promising I did not consider that game at first as it has only a garbage ranking on winehq. But then I found a hack for it in a bug description and a link to the demo. So I tried it out. The hack still works and the game absorbed me for an hour, maybe two, so that I almost forgot about the end of the promo. Hopefully the GOG version hasn't changed during the last months so that the hack for it still works too.
