66% off Deus Ex, Omikron, Startopia, Thief, Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain, Hitman and more!

It's literally a Weekend Promo². The Square Enix catalog features some of the greatest gaming classics in the history of ever, and we've got quite a few of them right here. This weekend we're featuring the entire Square Enix catalog of nearly thirty titles at 66% off - this promo wins Fair & Square.

Deus Ex, every time you mention it, someone will reinstall it. Now that we've taken care of the formailities - with a huge library of mods and one of the most freeform stories in existence, this is a title that you just can't miss. Though a fair bit more controversial, much of the same can be said about the sequel, Deus Ex 2: Invisible War - a revolutionary cyberpunk experience awaits! We can't let Deus Ex steal all the thunder though, the Thief and Hitman trilogies are not just another set of classic - they're cult series that according to many still exemplify their own brand of stealth perfection. If you're done being sly and looking for a bit of action, you may be surprised to find just how well Lara Croft is aging in the Tomb Raider games.

As always, this is just the beginning - you'll find plenty more goodness in our weekend promo, Fair & Square! It's 66% off the entire Square Enix catalog until Tuesday, July 10, 3:59 AM GMT.
Added a post there.

Relatively painless to register an account. Standard e-mail confirmation. Come on, GOGers! Let SE know you want MORE! ;)

SeduceMePlz: Appreciate the sale as usual, but how about some new Square Enix releases?

Tomb Raider: Legend
Tomb Raider: Anniversary
Tomb Raider: Underworld
Yeah, I really wish GOG could get the rest of the Tomb Raider series. Tomb Raider: Anniversary was great!

SpecShadow: Deus Ex Revision is almost released (this time for real) so it will be good idea to grab original Deus Ex and start with Revision.
Do you have any "insider" information, when?

IronArcturus: Did anyone ever try that Daikatana?
It's a nice shooter for one playtrough and with nGlide or DgVoodoo, you can get amazing graphics :)

Surprisingly, there was no comment on this yet so... "Tuesday, July 10, 3:59 AM GMT" does not exist this year. There's Friday July 10th, which I believe is when the sale started, and Tuesday July 14, but no Tuesday, July 10th.

The next Tuesday, July 10th is in 2018. XD
Kinda tempted by Theif Gold, but having had it on disc previously, and having not been able to get into it, hmmmm...

So:

Can anyone convince me why I should get it / maybe help me get past my initial "couldnt get into it".
- also, are there any mods etc that give the textures a bit of polish or "must have" mods that dont damage the vanilla experience?

Does it have an OpenGL or DirectX mode by any chance? Glide usually doesn't allow a game to run in a window.

I just checked, OpenGL seems to be the default setting. The game even allows the ALT+ENTER combination to switch between windowed mode and fullscreen.
Wow - six hours and no reply... the forum is truly dead this week! O_____o

Anyone?!

How far in were you and can you be more specific? It's been too long since I played, but this thread may help. As for mods, TFix.
