Dev about releasing 20XX and 30XX DRM free:
These might come after 1.0, but they're not currently in our plans. Sorry I don't have better news here!
The developer of Tears of Betrayal has commented on the wishlist:
I am the developer of this game. Thank you very much!
I'd love to see it on gog, but I don't know how. I can no longer get it to work on Windows 11 (maybe someone else can) and the source code is lost, so it's not possible to rebuild it.
It's not entirely clear from that comment whether scippie75 is in possession of the legal rights (or whether he's been in touch with GOG staff), but MobyGames says Frixx-iT was both developer and publisher, so the trail seems warm...

After a long silence, Kingpin Reloaded, the remaster of Kingpin : Life of Crime has a new trailer and a release date for December 5th.

Steam only for now, but maybe a GOG release is scheduled later ?

Note that I'm disappointed by the trailer and the $ sign above the corpses is horrible. A good point is that the soundtrack from Cypress Hill will remain untouched !

Don't be dissapointed with the trailer. It's hard to notice but the new textures are crispier and more detailed, they were hand crafted and look the same (apart from AI upscaled textures which usually in contrast might look out of place most of the time).

As for the rotating "$" icons, they can be switched off in the menu.

The game should be coming to GOG eventually like every other game from 3DR (except for Graveball and Ziq). Also the consoles one day.

Wait & see... as usual ; )
Maybe it's been this way for a while now, but Crystal Dynamics is listed as a publisher here, for the Tomb Raider and LoK games at least. (Used to be Square Enix)

https://www.gog.com/en/games?publishers=crystal-dynamics

We know the Tomb Raider 1-3 remasters are coming. I'd like to think the above is a good sign for the chances of Rise and Shadow finally showing up, in the not-super-distant future. :) Some people will be upset at me reading too much into this, but whatever.

"As a reminder, the previously announced offline mode, as promised, is coming soon. The Seasonal Journey can also be considered a kind of preparation for the offline mode with all the past content made available. And the journey will definitely continue after this as we have some really cool surprises left for Martyr."

Thumbs pressed then.
Yeah, I noticed the offline mode announcement for Martyr a while back. They first announced it was coming back n October. Are they actually getting close to finishing it it?

Definitely would be interested in the game here.

Oh that's very cool. I've been interested in that game but was put off by the online only. Hopefully it will come here with the offline mode. I love ARPGs

Endless Legend
is now given for free by the developers website. "Endless Space", "Endless Space 2" and "Dungeon of the endless" followed the same path before they were released on GOG. This could be a sign that "Endless Legend" is coming soon.

I've written this because such a possibility can be important if someone is thinking of buying DLC on Steam, maybe they would prefer to wait for the eventual release of GOG.

Swedrami: "Gothic but in top-down 2D" dubbed Drova: Forsaken Kin has struck a publishing as well as financing deal with Deck13.
Just2D Interactive GmbH, the developer behind Drova: Forsaken Kin already have expressed their willingness to release on GoG, but with Deck13 taking over publishing duties it's now even more likely for Drova: Forsaken Kin to show up here once it's finished.
Set to release in early 2024, after the just announced public playtest has ended(?).
I wasn't sure where to share this, but I wonder if this video (a clip from a larger video) suggests we'll be getting something significant at the start of the Spring Sale tomorrow:

https://twitter.com/GOGcom/status/1770100473158152377

The boxes of two EA titles (already on GOG though, admittedly) are prominently featured, and EA released a bunch of old games on Steam recently (including C&C not yet here), so that could be a hint. But I wouldn't be surprised if that's unrelated.

(just another guess: the return of MGS2)

In any case, we'll see soon. :)
