Vagabond: The only thing I can suggest is putting that "slick" triangle thing GOG puts on the top right of every game box. Then it'd be perfect!

Well... that slick triangle is meant to simulate cover-shine; a dvd case will bring that to the table IRL on it's own ;)

Bump to bring this topic back to life, for those who care.
Dear Red, do you have a link to download the template for the DVD covers, as well as the specific font for the text? I'd like to have a hand in this too ;)

I'd just like to chime in an say excellent work on the covers dude. It would be good if GOG allowed registered users to create DVD case covers and then when approved and accepted by the user to then make them downloadable extras for games when purchased.

This is really, really great! I hope we can get something similar from GOG. But you've done a great job, so maybe it's not that necessary? ;)

Go to a photoshop and ask them to do it for you
Or, get one of those online services to do it. It's not too expensive, you can get it for less than 10 bucks
Are you planning to make the covers of descent serie?
Red seems to be MIA. I really hope he passes the templates on if he doesn't want to work on anymore games, as the box-hungry community would jump at every opportunity to create good covers
I might do another series of covers once I have some time on my hands, if Red doesn't come back anytime soon. I just took another look at the covers, and it's nothing too complicated. Maybe we can have a friendly competition on who can create the best template sometime in the near future eh

Wow, some of these look way better than what came with the games originally. Fantastic work!
I'd totally donate to your Paypal account to see more of these coming. *wink*
Hi, just wanted to add my thanks to Red_153D for the great covers, you've really made my games shelve look a lot better :)
I'm also going to be bold and make a few requests.
- Freespace 2
- Disciples: Sacred Lands Gold
- Disciples 2 Gold
- Die by the Sword + Expansion
thanks again for all he work you have put in.
Some typos - you've called the Skorl in the Lure cover Skori and Exoddus is misspelled on the Abe's cover
But I want :D I need to get to the inkshop...
I think I'll help out by making some Autorun menus.
Very cool box covers. If Red is around, could you please make some for the Apogee games Rise of the Triad and Blake Stone?
thanks!
