lupineshadow: So far no evidence put forward to show that Trustpilot is not in fact ass.

Hiding the registration requirement after the questionnaire and not before does indeed scream ass!

king_kunat: Guys, the Trustpilot is a review website. There's no questionnaire there or anything like that.

It's like game reviews but for other websites, like ours.
Yeah I know what it is.

It's not really a review website. It's to provide legitimacy for businesses more than information for customers.

And the OP here didn't write the problem in detail, but the other person who did write about the problem in detail didn't title their thread in a way that shows the problem with Trustpilot:

If you ask your customers for 5 minutes of their time, 10 minutes of their time, 15 minutes of their time, but don't warn then that unless they then agree to register with that company after spending that time then that is an abuse of someone's free time.

Suddenly their goodwill becomes bitterness towards Trustpilot and towards the company that pushed it (GOG)

You can't blame them either, and I'd be the same.

Luckily for me, I learnt not to bother anymore, with these requests from GOG.

As much as I am a fan of GOG,they clearly go too far sometimes.
