It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Strange or better times : ) It's associated with assumptions as assistance in assets of this assignment.
Assertiveness is assolutely better than assgresssion. You starting to teach it bruv. I'm momentarily impressed.

They are asking anyone to use it, which you can ignore. If the presence of that item on the form is bothering you, there are ways to block and hide it. When you wish to provide feedback about your experience doing business with their company, you can choose any rating website, blog, or forum you like and think is effective in reaching other potential customers.

While using an external source puts their name out there (free advertisement for them) and spreads the word about the holy sanctum of DRM-free, leaving direct feedback after an order has been processed should be equally valuable to GOG. Whether and how they are using it is up to them.

You are correct in suggesting that GOG could add more places for customer feedback, though, it is in their own interest, after all.

I don't know, the Steam reviews are pretty much on the mark!

u2jedi: GOG wants me to review them on Truistpilot but then I have to login to Trustpilot to tell them what I think. non-F that.

I think I'll tell GOG what I think in a post which will be lost in their terrible forum layout now.

The forums NEED a rethink.
Steal from STEAM forums if you have to.
The games Library layout and navigation feature set on the website NEEDs an overhaul BADLY. I hate that I cannot just JUMP to a game in my library to manually download its installers. This being from the game's store front page of all things.
It needs a "jump to" button with a box you can enter a page number into in the games library pages. This having to navigate via tiny 1-7 link at the bottom is total nonsense.

Do not suggest I use Galaxy, that is DRM.

Why aren't 'Megaton Rainfall' and 'Terminator: Resistance' in your endless rehash of game discounts? By now they should have an 85% off status compared to all the other games you keep rehashing in "sales" at 85% off.
While I understand your annoyance at having to use something like Trustpilot, it is optional, and clearly GOG want some other body to do the hard work of assessment.

But as for the other stuff, I am somewhat lost.

What better forum layout exists for doing what you want to do? Can you provide a link to an example?

Yes, the forums no doubt need a lot of work to be modern etc. But there are positives and negatives to that, and I say that as someone who is very familiar with a few different types of forum software. So my own personal view is that I'd rather they didn't change anything ... better the devil you know kind of thing.

No Never! Please don't ever be like the Steam forums.

Mmmm ... you've been a GOG member since 2010, but haven't really sussed out how your library works. As another here mentioned, there is a box for inputting the page number. But I do wonder how you know what page number a game is at? And then there is search, which is better all round. You appear to have 7 pages in your game library, while I have 22 in mine ... imagine that.

And that brings to mind a question. Are you using GOG properly?
Properly from a DRM-Free aspect.
It certainly doesn't sound like it, if you are having to search your library for a game to download and install.
If you were using GOG properly, you would already have the game downloaded, and backed up.

And last, and maybe least, games are sold at the price probably determined by the game provider, not GOG so much. But I agree with the sentiment, that some games never seem to get a discount or much of one. I have a huge number of games on my wishlist that can attest to that.

Oooh, I know! The D programming forum is a good start. If something which loads so fast can serve actual formatting tools to us, including a dedicated preview, why do we have to kick around the tyres of a forum that doesn't even manage that?

If not that, consider what the SomethingAwful Forums offer on the back of a forum engine that basically hasn't changed since 2004.

:O

A cryptic clue like the old days - new hentai title confirmed!!!:

Trust ass, pilot!

Navigate the ebb and flow of hyperspace while dodging waifu ass in this pixel art roguelike where the only achievement is to not say anything in a release thread!
[made especially for that one guy that grumbles about these things in every thread thinking they represent everybody!]

price: FREE!

...I'm actually gonna go pitch this to my boss now. Has to go better than... oh wait. NDA! D:

dnovraD: Oooh, I know! The D programming forum is a good start.
That is not the type of example I was referring to.

I have used many other forum software. And the best I have ever come across, is the Innovision software used at the AutoIt Forum, for example.

What I was after, was a real world example of what the OP was suggesting. Something that differs from a regular post, because in the end, the final result of a post is what it is all about. and in my experience, a post is a post, no matter the forum software.

Sure, some forum software provide embedded images, and text formatting beyond Italic, Bold and Underline, etc.
And certainly how you create your post using editor options can make it a better experience.

But how much difference would all that make in this instance, really?

Breja: That's great, but I was thinking more along the lines of "what the **** is trustpilot"? Other than "ass" that is :D
I was pretty sure this was some PC joystick/flightstick review, maybe a full HOTAS system. "Trustpilot" sounds like a perfect name for a pro-level gaming flightstick, for the Microsoft Flight Simulator veterans.
So far no evidence put forward to show that Trustpilot is not in fact ass.

Hiding the registration requirement after the questionnaire and not before does indeed scream ass!
Wot did you say?

Blame it on publishers that ignore email and / or refuse.

Guys, the Trustpilot is a review website. There's no questionnaire there or anything like that.

It's like game reviews but for other websites, like ours.

If we are re-aranging these words, then Ass pilot: Trust! works better as a title in my opinion. Ass pilots could be a frnaachise

Pretty sure a different industry already has it! ;)
