A lot of games will never be published in the gog store it is a fact! For different reasons many games will never be published in the gog store - fuck_DRM policy (or at least gog trying to pretend DRM-free), absurd terms of cooperation that gog is pushing, support policy that is completely frustrating and disappointing, and of course non-professional personnel.
MuchWhittering @EnigmaticAngel The Ezio Collection is not on PC, it will not come to GOG. But the individual releases of the games, sure.
EnigmaticEngel I agree with the other commenters for why it'd be incredible for more of Assassin's Creed like the Ezio Collection to be added here on GOG. Raising my hand high in support of this as well. Did a search to see if any plans for that and it lead me here to this thread. I want to play them on PC but GOG is always my first choice. And for the reasons others have listed. Thank you for bringing te first game, hoping to at least see Ezio's Trilogy here. Would also one day love Syndicate, and yes even RED when it comes out. Thank you.

Oilclove Please GOG. This game is 10+ years old, the best installment, and Ubisoft already gave it away for free a while back. I see no reason for them to deny should you ask them for permission to sell it on your platform DRM free.

Rimland23 Ubisoft is going to cut off online support for the old Assassin´s Creed games (and a bunch of others) in September. Disturbingly, for certain games such as Brotherhood, this also includes cutting off access to DLCs (which in this case includes significant single player content/missions such as The Da Vinci Disappearance, the Templar lairs and the Copernicus missions). Please GOG, do what you can to free these games from Ubisoft´s careless clutches and get them here, DRM-free and preserved in their fullest possible form. PLEASE!

TedMosly AC2 it's a game of 11 years ago, and ubisoft have already gifted it in April on Uplay.
TedMosly Assassin's Creed II , after 11 years , remain the best game of the saga. If this game will come on GOG i will instant buy.
Starkrun This was and remains the best Assassin's Creed there ever was. Odyssey comes very close. I don't know of a single reason why this would not work on GOG. Would be a Day 1 instant buy for me and many others.

Jet_Sextus Ubisoft, DRM does not work. All it does is makes consumers not want to buy your game, and pirates want to pirate it even more, so that they can get around the DRM. We want to buy your games, we don't want to pay to license the ability to play them
ValentB All uPlay unlocks (empasis on this word) are pre-installed and easily unlockable. Ubisoft needs to change few lines in .exe and complete edition of AC game is ready for GOG.
TheGreatDustpan It would be great to be able to repaly this without Ubisoft's inclusion of the intrusive Uplay system. I'm curious how a GOG version of the game would handle the rewards you unlock through said system though.
IngramJames The Steam version installs some OTHER, custom game-management system; which fails to create a new account. It just sits there, doing nothing. Utterly useless. I don't need another game management system. I have Steam.

MustaviSadi I really would like a DRM-free version of Assassin's Creed II, but since Ubisoft wants it to be protected from piracy (which failed to do so), the only way to get the game DRM-free is to torture Ubisoft employees into removing the Uplay DRM.

Artless7 GOG got a bigger and bigger catalog, but AC2 is still one of those gem that is missing. Ubisoft might let this one go DRM-Free after all these years to have some more sales. Rayman Origins is newer and GOG managed to grap it so why not some AC games?

Estelline I never liked Uplay, Origin or Steam - because I prefer to play games "the old way": Purchase them, install and play right after. I don't want other programs running in the background, collecting data of my computer and my playing style + sending adds everytime I just want to play the game. GOG treats games for what they are: Play whenever/wherever you are and just enjoy your fee time. I hope AC II will someday get to GOG as well and become "simply a game again"

angzaf What ubisoft should do, is realise that uplay does nothing to stop piracy, neither does steam or origin, games are pirated quickly and, the only ones pissed off are the legal ones, forced to login, download an update, and be online to play the game.
Hey Ubisoft, Wouldn't be nice to click the shorcut on my desktop and let me play my game? because that is what pirated copies do.

stonkie I played the first one and I'm waiting for the rest to come up on GOG (or just without UPlay really). I loved the first one and a friend of mine worked on these games, but there is enough choice in video games that I can wait as long as I need to.
