seppelfred: A game has disappeared from my library. I've had 385 games a couple of hours ago, and now it's only 384. I haven't figured out yet which one is missing, but this time it's not "Softporn Adventure".

JudasIscariot: Hi,

Do you have any Penumbra games in your library by any chance?
Yes, all of them.

Yes, one of the games was moved into its proper place as a DLC so check your library and the "missing" game will appear as a DLC in one of the standalone Penumbra games in your library :)
Galaxy was previously up to date yesterday and working. Upon starting it a few minutes ago it updated itself and promptly crashes with "Fatal Error" "Failed to load game database". The UI wont even start up at all now.

Have you got all of the latest updates for Windows 10? Have you also restarted your PC and tried running Galaxy again?

No, Windows 10 updates don't install on Windows 7. :) But yes, I have Windows 7/x64 fully updated prior to the Galaxy update. Galaxy would not start up at all, including after a reboot though. I had to uninstall it, download the installer and reinstall it, then re-import my installed games and it worked properly. It updated itself again and seems to work still.

Ah right, I forgot you had Windows 7, my bad :) So everything is working for the time being, right? :)

Have you opted into beta updates by any chance?

I previously used the beta for the last few years, but I switched to non-beta recently and it solved some problems. After uninstalling Galaxy, downloading the latest client download and installing it all problems went away however, although I had to reimport my library as per usual.

Yes, with 1.2.41 stable, things seem to be working fine now. :)

The whole site is borked for me. Can't access store, can't acess my library (both give me the spinning circle forever), missing pictures on main page and on store pages of games, {{product.title}} instead of many games names.

Whole place is a mess at the moment.

Edit: Don't know what the problem was, but everything's fine again.

I would also like to know what is happening with the review system. It looks extremely fishy and dishonest to reset review scores like that because it removes the useful criticism that gets upvoted. It also directly benefits the game devs who have time to upvote the positive reviews on a regular basis.

The bug exist for over 45 days.
GOG never fix it, nor saying anything about it.

While GOG staff did read this thread during those 45 days, they just ignore the specific bug.

Then lets just start making more noise and keep asking WHY IS GOG CHEATING THE REVIEW SYSTEM???
I think GOG have set some limit/quota for users who want to download installers massively.

Kakarot96 reported it 4 days ago:

I encounter exactly the same issue now.
