Not a great price on the old X games, but maybe that high price is an indication they are in a bundle with a better discount.

We know there are sometimes discrepancies in the bundle prices and sale prices, so it's likely the single game prices are added seperate from the bundles. The bundle part might have the correct start and stop dates and times while this single games were entered incorrectly. The discount scheme is similar to the current discounts ending on Steam today. But on Steam there is also a bundle package at 75% off for the old games, 80% off a bundle including X Rebirth and expansions.

Usually sales near big sales have similar discounts or they aren't discounted at all during the big sale, otherwise people might feel upset on buying recently at a higher price.
