stg83: Indeed, IAmSinistar was on a roll (no pun intended) in that promo. Despite my usual bad luck it was still a lot of fun to see who got what when rolling for their wanted games. :)
The disappointment and frustration of every second person scoring those Alien Shooter games not so much, eh? ;-)

Haha...yeah thats true, atleast 4 games were a permanent staple every time I rolled including those darn Alien Shooter games. :)

I didn't roll a single one of them. :P
I have been very lucky with the first roll: I found Painkiller, Geneforge, Outlast, Penumbra and Puddle. All the other times, though, I always got at least three alien/zombie shooters.

ddickinson: P.S. Sorry about the poor quality, I had to use an old camera.
That's some Good Old Coolness right there. I love the personal touch you put to the drawing, instead of just using an RNG.

HypersomniacLive: GOG must have been keeping an eye both on this thread and on your wishlist! ;-)

Now go get the Prince of Persia games! :-D
I shall! I am really surprised that opportunity came so quickly. I was sure this wouldn't happen until Xmas, if even then.

Such a nice way to head into the weekend!

Since it is a rare occasion where you are being gifted games instead of always the other way around. GOG decided to accommodate this by granting you an early Xmas wish. ;)

I almost feels that way! Thanks to our lovely hostess, and all of your nominations and support, I now have the PoP trilogy. Much gratitude to each of you!

I asked GOG to put them up for the weekend promo for you, but didn't tell you anything so to not spoil the surprise My works is done. ;-P

Indeed many thanks to ddickinson once again for giving the winners an opportunity to select games from the promo. If you haven't played the PoP games before then you're definitely in for a real treat because they are a whole lot of fun. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time in particular is a modern classic IMO, thanks to the involvement of original creator Jordan Mechner in its re-imagining as a 3D action/adventure game with really solid combat mechanics and innovative time manipulation feature. :)

Sinistar did already play them on a console. ;)

Ah I see, then he already knows everything so I guess there is no need for me to create more hype for them anymore. I played the first and second one on PC and the last one on console. :)

All on console for me, though I did begin the trilogy by playing the second one, then the first and then the final one.

You deserve them, the games and the nominations. Consider it a reward for your many acts of kindness :-).

S'okay, I agree with you, Sands of Time is especially great. It really revived the game and the genre with so many clever touches. Looking forward to seeing how it plays on the PC!
