Jarik12.3: Read the mail carefully. Look at the line "Your gift certificate [This thing here is the redeemable gift-code] contains:".
Or as I said before you can find the code in your order history...
The same thing seems to have happened with redeeming Syberia 1 & 2. I get the email but no code even though I already owned it. I get an Order ID number at least.

Hmm...Is the email named "A gift for you" or "Your order #ABCD123 is complete"?
You should get both, when getting a freebie you already own, and from your description it sounds as if you only got the latter.

In that case I don't know why you only get one mail, but you should be able to find the codes by clicking on your profile-name -> Orders and settings -> Orders History -> Scroll to the games, the gift code is right under your email-address.

The Syberia code should be highest up, if that was you last order.
And the path I described is for using the gog website. Finding the orders might be different in Galaxy 2.0, finding the orders in Galaxy 1.2 is quite the same though: profilename -> Orders.

Yep for the Syberia games and the Shadowrun Trilogy. On GOG Galaxy it just displays the email receipt.
