--Original announcement--
Piñata Madness is back – meaning excitement, mystery, and exceptional deals on some of our favorite hand-picked titles.

What is Piñata Madness?
For $3, you can buy and smash your own digital Piñata, each holding one of 100+ mystery games worth anywhere from $5.99 all the way up to $44.99.
Visit your Pinata hub, where can buy, open, and see everything Piñata Madness!
Just like real-life Piñatas, they'll bring you joy, surprise, and reward. Unlike real-life Piñatas, ours drop really good games instead of candy – games like Pillars of Eternity, Shadow Warrior 2, Heroes of Might and Magic, Victor Vran, and more!
It's a great way to broaden your horizons and try out games you otherwise wouldn't, knowing you're always getting a deal that's worth it. And if you already own every game included in our Piñatas, each game you drop will be a giftable code so you share the joy with your friends.

Weekly Megasale
If you'd rather know exactly you're getting, check out the Weekly Megasale featuring great deals up to -90% on some of our favorite titles including Darkest Dungeon, Shadowrun: Hong Kong, Heroes of Might and Magic III, and more!

The Piñata Madness and Weekly Megasale last until August 21, 2017, 9:59 PM UTC.
Like I said elsewhere, I'm not touching the silly gimmicky gamble thing. But the Deadlight giveaway is greatly appreciated, and the sale is quite good.
Are Piñatas regional priced?

trusteft: My second pinata gave me a game I already own. A game I bought last summer. Hmmm.
Is it a different version? (e.g. Deluxe or Special Edition)

Contact support and ask for a refund. They seem to be pretty good about it.
I couldn't see my Pinatas in Safari on MacOS, but I saw them in Firefox on Ubuntu.
So from 7 pinatas i got, three were the games i actually wanted (43 % success rate). On one hand the sale is fresh and breaks up the monotony of the usual sales, on the other it is a loot boxes- gog edition. I had fun. However, if you want a specific game, just buy the game. It will be cheaper ;)

Almost the same here.

Went home for lunch. Opened up GOG on my desktop and my pinatas appear. Went back to my android phone, no pinatas. So, there appears to be a major bug on at least Android Chrome.
How long I have to wait for pinatas to arrive?

Obviously, there is a bug on the portable devices, which causes the pinatas not to show. If you use a portable device ( smart phone or tablet). Just check the pinata hub through your notebook browser.

I did contact them, I am sure we will find a solution. Gog is super in everything apart from delivering good news.
I thought GOG gave up those crappy Pinata sales... :D
I really don't like the piñatas. As someone who owns games on sites other than GOG, I would rather wait to see if a game I own gets added to GOG Connect instead of having the possibility to get a game I already own somewhere else.

I thought Impaler26 gave up those crappy comments ;).Nah,just kidding.Pinata sales are in my opinion better than those insomnia sales that cause PTSD if i miss a game i want to buy xD.Cheers
Thanks a lot for Deadlight: Director's Cut Deep Silver and GOG.

lostwolfe: i'm going to be the lonely voice of dissent.

this sort of sale isn't for me, sorry gog.

"gambling" to get a game isn't my idea of a good time. [it's why i've sat out all these "random" promotions so far. luck of the irish, etc.]
You are most certainly not alone. I despise the practice.

IFW: IE11: nothing
Edge: nothing
Android mobile: nothing

Clearly a server issue.

apparition: I think Kristian meant a server-side account refresh: https://www.gog.com/user/refresh
Done that as well :)
Still the proud owner of 3 invisible pinatas!
