I'm probably one of the very very few that actually prefers zelda 2 to zelda 1. Megaman 2 is my favorite of that series, super C should have been original contra instead, startropics probably shouldn't have been there it's a zelda 1 clone. Castlevania 2 is my favorite of the NES games as I like the RPG-like Castlevanias.

Zelda 2 is great, if only I could actually get further. :P
If this has savestates I might actually beat it. :D
I haven't played Zelda 1 so can't judge that one.

I'd be tempted with one of these. I can't believe some of the articles elsewhere that say "meh, just get a Raspberry PI a and put an emulator on it" forgetting (or ignoring) the fact that the games are licensed IP... This is $2 per game plus free hardware thrown in, if you want to look at it that way.

May be licensed roms, but still easier ways of going about that. Wii U and 3DS/2DS being a few options.
