Thanks, GOG! =)
Love the freebie but is there any point in playing the regular version? It comes with both.
Finally bought the expansions for Witcher 3
Is this sale static and will stay as is throughout? Or will titles that aren't on sale now may go on sale tomorrow or the next day, etc?

Thanks, GOG!
Neat. I might get Soldier of Fortune 2.

Since Wasteland is on sale, this might be topical: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/wasteland_dos_original
EDIT: I just noticed this was labeled as completed. Is the DOS ver. really included or is this just a big lie?

Bought Divinity: Original Sin Collector's Edition when I realized that it comes with a second key so I can play it with my girlfriend online. Now I'm really looking forward to it, it's not just another game that sits in my library forever, waiting to be played one day, maybe. ;)

tinyE: I'm a little confused about Frostpunk. It looks like a Civ/City building sim but a lot of the reviews mention winning it and how long it takes to complete. Is it a sim or does it have a series of campaign missions?
Survival city builder, scarcity plays a big role in the game and there are also play modes rather like the challange seceneroes from Civ (I think was Civ IV ?)

I've completed the base game a couple of times in diffrent ways - took idffrent paths in social engineering, made some diffrent choices at branching events encountered duiring exploration, and focused on diffrent resource priorities.

I wouldn't agree with the idea that there's only one way to play it, but it is certainly more compressed than the more leasurly sprawling game play I'm used to from games like Civ, or SimCity.
Looks at name of sale. Looks out of window. Looks at thermometer. Thinks GOG trying to think globally.

In other words, the sale's name is a bit funny when it is full winter.

Thanks for the free game.
Goddammit, why do you pull these sales when I'm broke!? <=(Rhetorical, yeah, yeah I know!) I wish you'd have these sales in the beginning of the month when most have their bills already paid! Damn food took all of my money! ;)

EDIT: Free games are always welcomed, though!

Umm...yes, as an international company no doubt they are indeed thinking globally -- but they would then be keenly aware that it's full *summer* in the southern hemisphere.

I guess it works both ways, as straightforward name for the southern hemisphere and as a funny name for the northern.
Thanks for the freebie! I also appreciate the tacit nod to us southern hemisphereites

But I can't understand why these bigger sales can't have their own sales page?

If you think that's funny, the sale is internally named "Hot Sale January 2018", they time travelled back a year!
Thanks for the freebie! Looks interesting, might purchase the sequel as well.
