Ungunbu: ...EHM... would you consider adding at least "please" at the end of you request?
I never post something like this without a reason :D (maybe someone might not have it?

scoobydooami: Just as a quick aside, I'm wondering how I can give someone a rep point. I have clicked the + sign on the far right side of the post, but nothing seems to happen. The poster's rep hasn't gone up, and I get no type of response that I clicked it.

Is it possible that my adblock is making it not work? I'm using AdFender on Windows 8.1 in IE Desktop.

Ungunbu: More than 1 person is necessary to get rep
Okay. Thank you.

Ungunbu: Please do not post keys directly -- they are an easy prey for bots!
Some still don't heed your warning. Anyway, what is that thing with the bots? Some third party software gathers valid codes?

There is a rumor about some bots, meaning that some scripts are run to check the forum for code drops and quickly claim them. What is true that code drops often lead to scammers or people just claiming them without even saying thanks or newly created accounts just claiming all games they could find. That is why many people do not do code dumps anymore and why there is a seperate thread for code dumps to keep the regular gifting ones clean of that.

I see. That explains, why there's a rule in some giveaways about reputation limit and advices are being given not to be greedy.

Ungunbu: That's not how you do it :P

The url is:

http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_gog_community_gifting_thread/post16398

Edit: Also, if you want alternate text to be displayed (instead of the linked url itself) just use an block.

Edit2: Like this: [ url=the_url_of_your_post]The text you want to be displayed
Note that I put a space after the first bracket, you have to remove that.
Thank you mate, but still don't get it, thank you anyway mate!

Ungunbu: If you want to make me happy I have a very humble wish:

KOTOR from current Tier 1 Humble Bundle
Technically, this should be in the Non-GOG gifting thread. ;)

Anyway, PM sent.

leon30: the code written by a whole team of developers instead of one and with toughs for optimization as well.
avatar
Ungunbu: Good luck :-)
What's so bad or untruthful about that? Even if the game is not optimized and even if I can't compile it (although I have XP and Visual Studio 2005 as I saw it's desired) I can still see the structure of big commercial project and some professional coding style (every company and/or team have to had some codding standards, and believe me there is a great difference between the codding of a student and a developer with 5 or 10+ years of experience). Since I'm learning now this would be extremely beneficial for me.
