They seem to have removed it for now. Let's see if they'll bring it back in a less obtrusive form, and a bit further down the game page.
EDIT: Never mind. Still there for the games that had it in the first place.

Doesn't look like it. It's still there for games like Boltgun, Baldur's Gate 3 or Dragon's Age. I don't know why it shows for some games and not for others, but it was like that from the start, I think.

It's broken for GOG products that are "packages", like The Witcher 3 or Oblivion. And some games simply don't have any times on HLTB.

Oh. I just saw that it wasn't there on one of today's releases, then picked another game at random (one that's been here a long time, though) to check before posting that; that was missing the HLTB section, too, so I just assumed they pulled it. I suppose I should've expected that it wasn't universal in the first place.
I don't care about it, but I also don't mind it *shrug*
But it would be nice if it would be placed below the game details.

For me personally it's a cool extra, given that I do use "How Long To Beat?" already when I am curious and I want a rough estimate. Having it on the store page doesn't match my use case perfectly, however, as I might be more interested in finding out after I already played for a while, so adding that info to the galaxy page would be cool (maybe to the download page as well, although it's harder to find a good spot for it there).

AB2012: Another vote for putting the new HowLongToBeat box underneath the game details (the most important section), not on top of it.

Braggadar: And another vote for same. Let's put the info you expect from the store first, and have the new supplementary info after it.
And it could also do with a reduction in size too, doesn't need to take up so much space on the game's web page.

I like it, it's useful information. However, it would be more useful if it could be used in the shop for filtering and sorting (e.g. list all RPGs with a maximum length of 30 hours).
I'd also like to see this integrated into the user library (e.g. sort my games by length).
Since I tend to Google "how long to beat" for a lot of games, I find it a welcome addtion.

Hopefully GOG continues to add more useful features in the future.

P.S. As to the accuracy of the time estimates, I'm not bothered by it, since I really just want a general idea. After all, everyone plays at their own speed, so it'll never be accurate anyway lol.
.
Just throwing another satisfied nod towards the GOG staff here.
I was visiting HowLongToBeat anyway and seeing that info on a game page is useful to me.
On the other hand I do agree with many others here, that is should change position in game page, probably below DLC list.
Holy crap! It seems I was not the only one who noticed it.

I know that we have to give some time to cool a little, but having a GOG library calculation like for Steam would be cool too.;)
I love this addition. Like other users, I also would check HowLongToBeat before purchasing or sometimes even playing. I think the current location is just fine. Although as others have said, being able to filter and/or sort by those numbers would be fantastic! Please add that feature as your next step. And also take whatever steps are necessary to integrate HLTB with the rest of the games, it seems only a small percentage of games are showing it right now. Thank you.
I think it would make sense to have an option at least for logged-in members to hide it, or put it behind a collapsible so that the numbers are only shown on request.

I'm surprised nobody else in this thread has mentioned it yet, but I personally consider an estimated play time a pretty substantial spoiler (ignoring for a moment that HLTB numbers can be very questinable). If I realise that I have played a game for almost as long as most others took to beat it, I know that there's probably not a big new story arc around the corner, and the story will be wrapping up soon. For the same reason I don't look at the clock when watching a movie. Knowing when it ends is a spoiler.

For now, I also added the pannel to my adblock filters. If I want to know the estimated playtime before purchase (which I sometimes do!), I know where to look for it.
I hate it, I do not want to know how long does it take to finish a game and I do not know how to hide it from GOG Galaxy. I think I am forced to stop purchasing for GOG.
I like to get a general idea of the length of a game prior to purchase. While I don't put too much stock in the accuracy of the numbers, I love this addition.
