Academagia: The Making of Mages
A fun, text-based RPG sim game where you attend a school for wizards and go on adventures. It's basically a data spreadsheet simulator with tons of flavourful text (it has pages of story describing what you're doing and accompanying lore), as it's forum fans like to joke fondly, due to the sheer amount of options you have - tons of skills and subskills, abilities, spells and adventures you can embark on.
It has over 1000 adventures to try (obviously not in one playthrough, and each college - you pick yours at the start of the game - has about five to ten exclusive adventures) thanks to all the free DLC the team released over the years, right now the last and final DLC is 17.
And it features some really nice graphics/artwork.
It seems crazy that a game like this was rejected, while games like Huniepop or that bird dating visual novel game were allowed, since it's a text heavy RPG that seems perfect for old-school gamers. It's sold through their own website, and after being Greenlit they also released it on Steam few years back.
