Bunker: The Underground Game

This point'n'click is not listed on DRM-free wiki page, but I just recently completed the Steam version of the game on a computer that has never had Steam installed, and the game worked simply by clicking the exe.

Geralt_of_Rivia: Kholat runs fine on Windows without the Steam Client.

PixelBoy: Bunker: The Underground Game
Added both games to the wiki, plus a few more of my own:

Linux games

· Bendy and the Ink Machine: Complete Edition (needs the "steam_appid.txt trick": 622650)

· Bleed 2

Windows games (tested on Linux with Wine)

· Blackguards (delete/rename steam_api.dll)

· Shadow Bug (also works on Linux with a native v4.7.0f1 Unity Runtime + Steamworks librariess + "steam_appid.txt trick": 656550)

· Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn

So, this is slightly off-topic, but the Epic Store version of Axiom Verge, which is currently available for free for a few more days, is DRM-free; the Steam version isn't. As far as I know, this is the only way to get a DRM-free version of Axiom Verge outside of the limited disc copies that a few retailers had in the past for a little while.

Perhaps someone else can confirm, but the Windows version of Deponia: The Complete Journey refused to run without the client.

I can confirm this. I've been looking at this game for at least a year now and this is the best way to get a DRM-Free version of it and also, it's fair since this is the closest place you could post this sort of stuff short of making a thread about it all on its own and we all know how that goes.

Like a sitcom which must keep its status quo, no matter what.

Marked it as non-DRM-free for Windows until someone claims otherwise.

Plus, I've checked and added the following Linux games:

· Age of Wonders III
· Deep Sixed
· Switch - Or Die Trying

All of them worked out of the box without the client.
I am not 100% sure, but I think Axiom Verge in the Epic Games Store is DRM free.

I just did a quick test with Epic Launcher logged out and quited the program and I can't find any service running in the background. The game starts!

I know I know it's not Steam. But hell of a good game! And it's free till 21 february.

It indeed won't run without the client.

Sorry, was a littlebit excited about it!
It is DRM-free. Just make sure you have Axiom Verge updated as there's a bug in the Epic Store version's initial release due to excised Steam files the game required. Also on an odd side note if anyone here uses DS4Windows, I don't know if Axiom Verge likes that for some reason, it gives me sound errors when I boot with it active. at least.

I use InputMapper for that. I use a PS4 controller as well. Might help.

So if you have turned on auto update on Epic it should be fine or do I have to redownload/archive it? What kind of bug is there if you haven't updated?

A couple of short adventure games which haven't been mentioned yet, I think:

Bayou Island

Outpost 13

Both run fine without any tweaking.
